Beyond my wildest expectations!

I am blessed to have some pretty amazing friends who have done some pretty amazing things. My friend, Matt Morris, just released a new book, "7 Secrets to 7 Figures". And, of course, I bought it! Why? One - he's a friend and mentor. Two - the guy is freaking brilliant. Three - I was once told if you want what 'they' have - do what 'they' do. He's done it, got it, and is a fantastic trainer - so, if Matt speaks, I listen!!

Now, as a matter of transparency, I am one of those folks who believe that wealth is just a tool to do great things in this world. But you have to have the means to make a difference. I like nice things but I know that you can do good while doing well...but that is the title of another friend's book.

Anyway, back to Matt....I flipped to the first page to find a quote shared with him by one of his mentors:

“You will never live life beyond your wildest expectations until you first have some wild expectations.”

Let that sink in!

How many of us note in our profiles that our desired goals are just to make ends meet or just enough to get out of debt or be comfortable, however we define that?

So, is being comfortable or getting out of debt living a life beyond our wildest dreams?

I don't think so!!!!

We can do better!

Seriously!

The great Walt Disney once said "f you can dream it you can do it." And he started with a mouse, an idea and a dream.

The great majority of us are not dreaming nearly big enough!

Ok, but how do you dream bigger when you're just trying to get by? Some of us are in holes so deep we've forgotten how to dream at all let alone dream big. Yep! I've been there. Some days, I still am! It's why I read so darn much!! It's all an effort to overcome the inertia to kick start the dream machine again, shake loose the doubt, and get my mind back in the game. It's been a couple of rough years!

Another great book I read many years ago was 'The Question Behind the Question' by John G. Miller. It suggests that you ask yourself some seriously hard questions to drill down to what you're really doing and why with the intention to assume personal responsibility for where you are. I'm sure that Dr. Phil would ask 'So....how's that working for you?" For most of us, if we aren't where we want to be, would answer would be 'not so well'.

This wonderful world of WA gives us a chance to change that. A chance to change our stars. A fresh start. It gives us a reason to start dreaming again. WA gives us a reason to believe, in ourselves, in the power of community and the infinite power of potential.

Who knows where WA can take you? Where do you want to go?

Now think about it again. Seriously!

Where DO you want to go? It's possible!

Now dream bigger...and BIGGER!

WHERE DO YOU WANT TO GO?

What are your WILDEST expectations?

What would lie beyond that for you? Write it down!

Write it on post-it notes and put it on your bathroom mirror so you see it each morning.

For those who took me up on my challenge from a while back where the challenge was to write on post it notes 'I am..........." and fill in the black with affirmations, (no, I don't remember which one - some time in September or October) and to read them each morning when you're waking up and again each night before you go to bed. If you haven't done it, this alone can make a huge difference in your world. But add this to it.

If you're a journaler, dedicate a couple of pages to seriously ponder what are your wildest expectations?

The 'road less traveled'? You're already on it! Most folks don't have the courage, guts, patience, persistence or imagination to do what we're doing here within WA.

So what would it be like to have a life that you heretofore have dared not to dream...

What does it look like?

How does it feel?

What are you doing?

What are you able to do that you never dreamed could be possible?

Then ask yourself, is this a life beyond my wildest expectations?

If it doesn't scare you, you're not dreaming big enough!

I'll bet you can dream more wild still!

Picture it! Dream it! Do it!

Here's to making our wildest dreams become our realities!

Dream bigger!

Christine

People have forgotten how to dream. It is a trait that needs to be relearned. We can't achieve a dream unless we have one.

When I filled out my goals when first starting WA, I purposely made them very high. First of all, that means meeting them is a bigger challenge. It also allows me lots of room to grow. It allows me to dream of the unlimited things I could do if my goals were reached. Some of my ideas might be turned into a novel...will think on that...

Higher goals mean more challenge and more reason to stay motivated. How can I get there if I don't keep moving?

When the money starts rolling in, the first big thing I want to do is to replace my 1999 pickup with a new electric car. When I get to that point, you will know I've arrived!

This is the most amazing article to wake up to! 😍 I love it! That's the problem, sometimes we just don't dream big enough and that stifles what we could have achieved.

I also believe that many persons do not have the "stickittoittiveness" of us members here at WA who are willing and able to look at the bigger picture and be persistent enough to see our hard work pay off. I guess we are bonded by the common goal of improving our lives.

I do not know of the "post it note" challenge but from the looks of it, that ought to be something to include in my daily routine. Who doesn't need a daily dose of self-motivation?

Thank you Christine and have yourself a great day!

Claudia

Stupendous serious power up from the person I admire. It is what it is, we have to dream beyond we can imagine grab it and make it happen. Action filters the dreamers who are genuine trailblazers and we see them as those who reported their achievement in different degrees of their own versions of dreaming beyond expectations!

Expectations is the keyword.

Believing is everything, Keep dreaming. A man without a dream is dead.
