Hello all,
Recently I've been pushing a bit hard and pulling some ridiculous hours typing. Now my wrist is inflamed but i'm miserable having this schedule and not being able

I havent used this But it has given me some ideas.
Jen

Okay. Let me know if you find anything good. I am about to take a look at the one Marion suggested below

I use Dragon Naturally Speaking. It's not free but it works well.

Thanks Marion. I'll take a look at it. At this point I am willing to pay for a good one. I can't get the level of work I want to get done with these human restrictions lol.

-Crystal

Are you using Windows 10, it has a buit in feature for this?

You can find it here

Yeah I am using windows 10. Thanks. Will just ask Cortana

Hey Chrystopher,

Mac has one too which is what I have but the speech to text is horrible. It's way too slow or maybe I just talk to fast. It has a hard time catching up.

Good to know on Windows.

Thank you,
Monica

Thank you for letting me know :-)

windows logo+ctrl+s to turn it on or off. Pretty convenient. Thanks a million

Hello all,

Question for amazon experts.
Which plugin can I use to show the comparison table of amazon products...as seen on amazon when you scroll down on the produc

Sorry i've been so absent from my own question guys. Thanks for all the helpful tips. The ad blocker one, had no idea. I use both native shopping ads and CTA via text links. I'm not getting much traffic yet so I guess I should not be expecting much but If I get 9 views per day on a post, avg 6 minutes per visit, shouldn't it be giving some conversions? Am I doing something wrong why no conversions as yet? Wondering if I should do some tweaks here and there or just wait until I am getting more visitors. They increase everyday with better ranking.

Hard to say why it's not converting without seeing the post.

Where's the traffic coming from?

I like most of your review.
Checked it on mobile and desktop. No real problems there.

What you could experiment with (it's always about testing and experimenting...what works for me doesn't have to work for you):

1. Some paragraphs are really long. Try adding some line breaks and maybe more images.

2. Make the headings more interesting. For example: "Design that will make your neighbors jealous".
Well, that's not the best example, but you get the idea.
Headings like that will captivate your readers more and they can already imagine how it will be to own the product you are promoting.

3. Add more sneaky affiliate links, especially in the middle.
Most, if not all, of your affiliate links, say something like "buy ....".
You don't always need to push them that strong.
You can try "you can check out more images here" or "now you understand why I love the [product name] so much".
Just try different ways of linking and see what works best.

4. Remove distractions in the sidebar.
Especially when promoting high priced items, you want to remove distractions. You don't want them to click on any other link than your affiliate link.
Maybe make it a full-width page without the sidebar.
Or make it a landing page which would remove both the sidebar and the menu.

5. What works wonders sometimes is having a face of a person near your affiliate link.
It's even better when that person points to the affiliate link.
So, in your conclusion, you could add an image of yourself or one you find online near the final affiliate link.

6. You are mostly describing the product in a very technical and (excuse me) a bit boring way.
While you have to give your readers all this information you could make it a bit more entertaining. You can come up with a funny story at the beginning and refer to it a few times in the review.
Give your readers something to smile or refer to.

And, again, paint a picture for them how their life will be better with the product.

7. Try to think about as many questions, people might have about the product, as possible.
Then answer them all.
If there is only one question unanswered, people might leave your site to find another review and you lose a possible commission.

That's all I can think of at the moment.
Hope it helps.

As I said, I like your post and website visually.
Try my tips from above and see what works for you.
Oh, and I wouldn't link to WA on a niche site.
I think chances are pretty slim that someone will join WA from such a site.

All the best,
Moritz

This is excellent advice. I will make all the adjustments you suggested. Thank you so much for going through my Website so thoroughly.

You're welcome. :)

Hope you will see results soon.

I spent the better part of the week going over my content as you suggested.
They are soooo boring. They read like research papers, the extremely uninteresting ones.
I would not have read most of my posts if they were not mine. I think my conversions will improve once I edit and make them more conversational. I have a lot of work to do.
Thanks again for the advice. I appreciate it even more now that I can clearly see what a drag those posts were.

When I read my content from a few years ago, it's the same.
Terrible what I did back then. :D

And you said something very good.
It should be written in a tone as if you were having a conversation with a friend.
Just imagine you were talking to your friend about the product.
Most likely you wouldn't give all the technical information.
Instead you would talk about the benefits.

All the best.

Thanks Mr lifesaver :) this will save me a lot of time trying to build these tables manually

No probs and you get stuck for anything YouTube is sure to have a training on it.
Enjoy your day.
Robert

TablePress is not responsive. See his article on narrow screen, his tables are not readable at all. I have tried that plugin earlier.

I watched the video from the first link, tried to find this plugin and it is not available. So what is Amazon Product Comparison chart wordpress plugin? It seems this is a paid tool. I would love to have such a tool for a new site which I am building. Is it responsive?

Hi Jovo, I just typed in keywords and the two results I passed on seemed to be the best options.
If you have tried them and found they were crap I will pass on your findings to Crystal.
Thanks for your input.
Robert

Hi Crystal, seems like those two programs might not be suitable after all.
Jovo has tried them and found them wanting.
Sorry if I've put you on the wrong track.
Perhaps Wordpress.org will have one you can use.
Worth a looksee anyway.
Robert

And I would like to add a warning;

Displaying prices can get you banned if they are not updated automatically via the Amazon API.

Yes I know and I'm assuming that Crystal is aware of this as well.
She wanted advice/tips on a plugin and that is what I gave her.
However since then Jovo has pointed out certain aspects Crystal should also be aware of and I have told her so.
Enjoy your Wednesday.
Robert

Good point. Amazon has launched a solution for this quite recently.

Thanks for the tip and the link Jovo.
Enjoy your day.
Robert

That's awesome, Jovo.
I have been using Native Shopping Ads for a while but wasn't aware of that new feature.

Will add that to my reviews.
But, as you pointed out in the training, we shouldn't only rely on that because it can get blocked by ad blockers.

Thanks

Yes, so I add call to action as well. I know a few guys here who have only Native Ads and I am sure at least one of them is making a full time income. So perhaps this ad blocking is not so frequent. But It is better to play safe.

When your readers find out about the recall (and they will), your credibility will be shot if you haven't mentioned it.

Yeah you are right. I think I am going to go with the advice below. I am going to place a notice in the review that people who purchased the product before a certain date should contact such and such to get a replacement immediately due to manufacturer faults but explain that the company reported that the product was improved.

You could possible update it to reflect the new model or place a warning for people about the recall and the updated version has fixed this issue

This is exactly what I am going to do. I had high hopes for this article. It was climbing steadily in ranking. I really do not want to delete it or anything drastic like that
