Things Are Starting to Get Fun (Just Hang in There a Little Longer!)
I've been having a great time building out my website for the past several months. This is a job I LOVE to do. I love the challenge of it, and I love learning all kinds of new things.
But a couple of months ago...
I admit it:
I was frustrated.
I mentioned it in my Operation Vegas 2020 January update. I said, "My traffic is where I want to pull my hair out. It just isn't going anywhere... And my bounce rate is WAY too high and time on page is WAY too low."
After asking arond, at least 3 people told me wait until the 6th month.
Now, the 6th month is here.
And they were right.
Things are starting to get REAL fun now.
Traffic and Search Results
Today I went to analytics just to take a peek at some stuff, and I saw this:
After months and months and months of very little activity on my site, it's nice to see people there! (Some of these are people reviewing a site I just posted, but those would just be the last bar.)
I know this is not a lot of activity compared to some of you who are way more established, but for me, this means a lot.
This is my favorite chart:
This is the last 6 months of activity on my site. You can see that it's finally getting somewhere. You can see that it didn't do much for quite a while.
So...My Advice to You
I know you hear it all throughout this site.
This is a long game. You gotta be patient. Keep going. Things will start to happen.
Give it at least 6 months of diligent work.
Google doesn't trust your site yet before that.
They have to understand what you're trying to do and what your site is about so they can put you in the proper place.
They have to make sure you're going to stick around before they can start letting you in. Otherwise, what's the point, right?
Do your work, and let Google do theirs.
Eventually you'll meet up. :)

Right now, I am experiencing the same thing. My website "bounce rate is WAY too high and time on page is WAY too low."
But I agree with you, keep going, give us a chance to see the big breakthrough.

So you have been following the bootcamp course?
Your site is 6 months old, how many posts you
currently have?
I haven't specifically followed that course, only because I went through it a long while ago. I got back into it sometimes if I need to clarify something. But yes, my site is focused in the make money online niche and I primarily promote WA.
I have 137 posts, and a few landing pages too.
