Gosh, There is a Lot to Do! A Daily Schedule of Blogging Activities.

Not too long ago, I was looking for some posts about how people fill up their day with blogging activities. I felt kind of lost sometimes, like I was missing something. And I wanted to see what others did so I could see what I was missing.

I only remember a couple of people posting their daily activites, but it was really helpful to see!

So, in case this helps you in some way, I wanted to give you a list of the things that I do daily at this point in time. I'm sure this will change in the future, but this is what it's looking like right now.

5:30 AM - Grab a cuppa and make a few comments on people's blog posts, or do some comments in SiteComments. (There aren't many to do at that time in the morning.)

6:00 - 6:30 AM - Take a walk around my circle. I've been listening to Pinterest trainings lately because I want to get really good at it.

6:30 - 9:00 AM - Get my kids out the door for school, exercise and get ready for the day. (If I walk again during this exercise period, I will listen to more Pinterest trainings or business e-books.)

9:00-11:00 AM - Write a blog post, get it up, request Google to index it, and request comments.

11:00 AM - 2:00 PM - Start writing another blog post, make comments in SiteComments, work on my Pinterest account, do any upkeep on my website. For instance, I just got a new Rich Snippet plugin for my review posts, and now I need to go back and update all my past reviews.

After 2:00 PM, my kids return from school so it's a little scattered. I try to do more in Pinterest, do more SiteComments and check on some blog posts here at WA.

I also like to go through trainings when I have time. I'm supposed to be doing the Super Affiliate training, but I leep forgetting to get back to it! Oopsies!

I also have a Facebook page that I'm trying to grow. And I have a list of about 20 other things I'd like to get to! Eek!

I absolutely love blogging, but now that I'm in the thick of it, there is SO MUCH TO DO. I am busy non-stop and my day FLIES by. How about you? What does your day look like?

A great break down, I have a similar type schedule but get so caught up exploring other areas or checking out training, I look up and so much time has passed lol Then it's all on panic to actually get other important things done. I thing I may need to set an alarm for 1 hour intervals. Keep up the fantastic time management and all the best Christina,
Cass

Yes, Cass! It's easy to get sidetracked. I make sure to get my article done before I allow myself to go into other areas since that's the most important thing to do. Focusing can be tough, but you got this!

- Christina

Cheers :)

We get up at 5:45 am, have breakfast and lots of coffee, work out then spend the rest of the day till about 5:00 pm working on WA and studying our Spanish since we live here in Ecuador.
That's our day!
C & P

Sounds similar but my day has kids thrown in and less Spanish! lol (Both of my kids are taking Spanish in school so, there is a *little* of it here. ;) )

Its great to see how other people utilize their time. I actually work a full time job so my blogging has to come outside work unless I can sneak in the odd reply like right now LOL.

Sounds like you have a great plan in place

Dale

I used to be the same way, Dale! You just have to squeeze it in where you can when you work full time and have a family. The key there is to be consistent. Even if you post 1 time per week, it should be consistent week-to-week.

- Christina

Discipline was the word I was thinking also. I always jot down my plans for the day over the morning omelette and hot tea.

That's a great idea! I just do the same things again and again so I don't really jot anything down except when other ideas come to me.

How does your day look? Does it look a lot different than mine?

- Christina

Except for the kids, I do about the same thing as CandP. Just substitute tea and taking the fur babies to the dogpark(I like the dogpark more than they do). Us scuba folk thinks alike.

That sounds like fun! We are looking to adopt our first dog, so that should put a nice kink into my schedule. We have 3 cats, but they do their own thing.

- Christina

I think God created cats late on a saturday nite a long time ago. Looked at them and said, "I need a day off". Cats ain't right, but I love them. Going to get me another Maine Coon cat very soon.

lol I love the way you put that! Maine Coons are gorgeous!

- Christina

That's amazing, I think you are super disciplined! You can only do so much and it has to stay enjoyable. So trust the flow!

I don't know if I'm disciplined, I'm just in the flow, I think. It's nice to have an idea of what I'm doing every day though. I don't have to think about it, I just get to work!

- Christina

Great post! Plan your work and work your plan! And you will have success!

That's what I'm counting on!

- Christina

All the best Christina!

I'm still struggling to get writing on daily basis.

I tend to write long blog posts which is exhausting, especially in the money making niche. Also, it gets more difficult since I'm not a native English speaker.

But you posts keep me always motivated. Keep it up!
Amjad

I get exhausted too, Amjad. I get it! I would love to do 2 posts per day, but it's really tough. I can sometimes do 1.5 but that's usually it.

Keep it up though! As long as you're consistent, it will work out for you.

- Christina

Sure.. Will keep taking action.

Thanks for the encouragement!
-Amjad

I like your schedule.

I need to try to figure out if I can pull off a similar one. My day "job" requires some flexibility because I never know when customers will come in. I work on my affiliate marketing in between customers and my ranch related tasks.

I do start out with coffee and catching up on the news.....

Well, that's good that you can work on affiliate marketing during your day job hours. That's nice that you have that flexibility!

- Christina

heheh I don't think I could handle doing an hourly blog of my stuff ! :)

Too much? lol I would love to hear what other people do. I always feel like I'm missing things that I should be doing.

- Christina

Too short
Like a perpetual emergency room
And the real trick is having some rest

Rest is certainly important!

- Christina

Good luck!
