2 Mini Milestones & My Best Trick for Getting Business Ideas
(Isn't that picture just silly? I love it!)
I suppose a milestone is a milestone and I should probably stop calling them mini milestones. But, they're smaller goals on the way to bigger ones.
(Then again, when I get to the bigger goals, there will be even bigger goals to take their place. It just never ends, does it?)
I like Tiffany's milestone post today, and I liked how she talked about getting more milestones and that they are happening closer together.
I believe that to be true for me too. Mine are just a bit further back than hers.
Mini Milestone 1 - 100 Email Signups
I recently started making email marketing more of a priority and it's something that I'll be working on even more.
I started off hating email marketing, which is DUMB because I used to be an email marketing manager. (Maybe that's WHY I hated it. lol) But I'm realizing how important it is, AND it's a key component of running things on autopilot if done correctly.
I don't know about you, but I like autopilot.
Mini Milestone 2 - $100 in WA Commissions
100 is my lucky number this month because I hit 3 digit commissions here with Wealthy Affiliate.
I can't wait to see how this grows in the coming months! I'm constantly thinking of a way to improve my messaging and draw more people in.
I also want to really find a way to be of the best possible service to my referrals and make sure they're succeeding as much as possible.
That's all for the milestones for now, but I have a lot of things I've been doing and working on and plan to work on and I'll update you on everything in my next Vegas 2020 post in August.
(Did I say how much I love affiliate marketing? All of this is SO MUCH FUN. Even when there are ups and downs. It's just so satisfying, I love it! I don't know why everyone in the world isn't in this business. lol)
My Best Trick for Getting Business Ideas
OK, this is maybe going to sound a little weird, but my best trick for getting business ideas is...
If you hate running, then getting outside for a walk, or a bike ride or doing some other form of exercise (preferably outside) will likely work.
Running works better than walking for me and I think it's because:
- The exercise is more intense so there's more oxygen and blood flowing
- I'm listening to my favorite music which gets me hyped
But whenever I'm out for a run, it's like ideas just flow so easily.
Have you ever had that experience when you exercise?
I usually have to stop and make some notes on my phone so I don't forget.
So not only is exercise good for your body, but it's good for your business too. Try it and you'll see! :)
(P.S. If you hate running, then it might not work because you'll be thinking "I hate this" the whole time. lol Find something that you enjoy doing!)
Until next time...
