Scheduling Tasks: How I Organize My Facebook Posting Schedule

Last Update: February 05, 2018

Another sneak peak behind the scenes - today, I wanted to show you a page in my bullet journal that showcases how I schedule my Facebook page content every week. I use a similar layout for all of my websites and pages, as well as other social media platforms, so that I can schedule the appropriate post at the appropriate time. Hope this inspires some of you to get more organized with your own Facebook posting schedule!

Good heavens. Wish I could be that organised. Is there a classroom on WA where can learn that lol?

not that I know off, lol. I actually got the idea from a course I took on Skillshare. But I am planning on posting more stuff like that here, hope that will help others.

I actually thought about starting an organization niche, or at least add more organization stuff to my business niche blog. Do you think, that would be a good idea?

Blessings!

I think that's a brilliant idea Claudia. Surely I can't be only disorganised vagabond in The WA family... or so I hope lol.

Post Planner is super easy to use and you can schedule your posts in advance. Some people will do the plannig on one day of the week (ie. Sun) and let post planner do the posting for them the rest of the week. You can post images, articles and questions. Good for Facebook and Twitter.

Hootsuite is another but I've never taken the time to learn it.

that is what I do - I use buffer, but when scheduling the individual post (I do it on Monday's I prefer a reference on what I need to schedule when - for examples, I make all of my image related posts such as quotes at ones, and then schedule the appropriate quote for the appropriate day - that way I don't have to guess what I am loading into Buffer schedule - by the way, Buffer is cheaper.

Thanks I've never heard of buffer. I'll check it out. I was just planning on getting Post Planner again, now may be a good time for a change. I like how thought out your post schedule is.

thank you - I took a course on Skillshare not too long ago, by a Lady who plans her Instagram schedule like that - using Trello. That inspired me to try the same with Facebook. Her advice made a lot of sense, and she made another point - later on down the road, you can use a workflow template like that to direct your Virtual Assistant to do the scheduling for you. I agree it is much easier to hand it over to someone this way - which I am planning on doing as soon as possible.

While I understand I need to do it I'm just not organized enough. I have yet to follow my schedule and this 32 days old. I'm working on getting organized and being on this site reminds me constantly that I should get to it. Thank you for sharing and showing us how to do it

start small - just find out what the best times are for your particular facebook page, and preschedule the posts for a week. You can use the Facebook page scheduling options to schedule all of your posts ahead. Start with this: a new post in the morning (either link to your newest post, or one you write directly for the facebook page), a afternoon post, that is more relaxed and does not sell something - like a picture of you going out to eat, or something else fun, and on post in the evening that contains a older post from your blog, or you can use your instagram pics for that one. That is an easy schedule to prep for. Write everything on Sunday, including the captions, and schedule it for the same time every day throughout the week.

Hope that helps

Wow. I could learn a thing or 15 from you. I need to get more organised. You wouldn't believe I trained people in time and project management in a former life as a Corporate trainer.
I just seem to get swayed along with the tide of things that are happening now.
Note to self. Must Do Better.
With Grace and Gratitude

I am not a "naturally organized person", and I am still struggling myself - especially with the taking the action plan and turning it into actual actions - part. But, when given no choice, and I gave myself no choice, I can actually get things done, lol.

What I found, that helped me the most is a customizable planning system - and for that I use Trello, and my bullet journal - which the above picture is from. If you want some pointers regarding those too, send me a PM.

Blessings
