Writing a Great Content Title!
Recently while researching for an article I was writing, I came across a post by a gentle man that made for a good read. Yes, it had nothing to do with what I was researching but I admit I do go out on a tangent very frequently. There might be a name for it but I usually commence 10 tasks at once and in the end, well you know, none is really complete. Or I just end up doing something I never had as a task. There are so many complications to the things that make us unique.
OK, let us get back here! The post was about how to write excellent content headlines that will attract readers. In Wealthy Affiliates we use keywords to get there however it is never wrong to get additional spin on things.
His recommendation is that we use the strategy:
Number + Adjective + Keyword + Promise
In using this strategy we are basically giving a number, followed by an adjective which describes the Keyword and then we make a promise as to what will be delivered by the keyword.
Example:
Let's say the keyword is:
Indian Virgin Extensions
I am going to choose the number:
5
The adjective can be:
Best
The promise is:
you will find on Amazon
In this case the title will be:
5 Best Indian Virgin Extensions You Will Find on Amazon
Now, we learn on WA that our titles should not be more than 60 characters. This particular title has 53 characters (Yes! I counted them....I think!)
Of course there are going to be exceptions as with all things but it probably deserves a look into.
Have a great WA day!

I love marketing ideas. Thanks for sharing this. Sometimes the simple things make the biggest differences. It's a easy tactic to follow.
Yes that sometimes happens. The simple stuff can make it a wee bit easier! You are welcome.

I am the same way... hundreds of posts written but a lack of organization has overcomplicated things for me.
