Beyond having your own website for your local business, having links and profiles in local directories is important. These are called Local Citations and having citations is a massive ranking metric.
In this live class, you will learn everything you need to know about implementing local citations for your local business.
I understand the Citations & how Google my business should be set up, but how can I tell which keywords am I getting rank for?
You can go to the Dashboard, click Post, then click tag, Any tag with one count is the keyword you are getting rank. Many tags with zero count you can keep or delete. Good luck.
Thank you very much Stephen, so, for what I understand Google will be placing the tags as are used to find my client in the GMB listings, right?. If I'm right how can I do to make my client rank for other keywords?
I usually modify the tag and submit for indexing. Go to Dashboard, in the XML sitemap of All in One SEO Pack; you have to tick the category and tag box for SEO to submit indexing sitemap to GSC. You can see the attached image file for understanding. Once SEO submitted the tag sitemap to GSC, you can go to the post and click on a tag to add a new tag or modify the tag you need. You must have a post to support your keyword tag to get one count. No post to back will get zero counts. More posts recommend the same keyword; the count will go up. You can decide how to do it on your site.
