You have your website, you have your framework and you are likely getting some traffic to your website. Now, how are you going to monetize your website. The money part of your business is two fold, how are you going to generate revenue through affiliate programs/own products/ads, secondly is how to maximize conversions.
There are many mistakes that can be made during these stages, so it is imperative that you understand the fundamentals of conversions and choosing the most appropriate method of creating income from your website.
I wonder how this home page looks on a smartphone. I do not use it, can anybody check?
Some themes such as Generate Press, will allow you to view your site the way a desktop, tablet, or mobile would see it. If yours does not, I would be happy to view it for you. You are welcome to send your url to me in a private message.
I was talking about this particular home page created in this video. I do not use a smartphone so cannot see how this home page really looks on it. My guess is that only its left part will be visible and wonder what the point is of making it so great. I have Generate Press in 3 sites and I know that the mobile view option it gives is still much wider than any other themes I use, so probably not realistic as compared with a true smartphone. Anyway, thank you for the offer.
Hi Folks, It has come to my attention that I did not SPECIFICALLY DISCLOSE that the Sections feature (creates the HERO part of the home page) of the GeneratePress theme was a premium feature. I did disclose that I wanted to use the premium plugin of GeneratePress as it has additional features but did not SPECIFICALLY DISCLOSE that the Sections feature was premium. If you want to use the Sections feature (creates the HERO part of the home page) of the GeneratePress theme, please be aware that this is a premium feature. Please note that this comment is in NO WAY to sell you the premium feature but to SPECIFICALLY DISCLOSE that the Sections feature is a premium feature of GeneratePress. Thank you.
Thanks for the clarification! I went ahead and purchased the premium plugin a while back and I absolutely love all the extra options. I'm so glad I followed your suggestion and started using the generate press theme! Thank you for all your time and advice! Best, Shannon
In a prior webinar Jay said he was using the free version of generate press theme. Sections is part of the pro version. It would have been nice if he had mentioned that. So unless we spring for the pro version we can not implement that part of the training. Disappointed (for the first time) with jay. The training is always awesome but let us know if you have changed versions please. In the last webinar (jan17th) jay indicated (I believe) that he would create content in this webinar. Was part of this webinar to promote the pro version of generate press? Part of my reason for being here is Jays phenomenal webinar trainings.
I'd recommend getting the Pro version of the GeneratePress theme if that's the theme you're running. It's a worthy investment.
See above featured comment. Thank you.
Hello, Family! Does anybody know if Sections that Jay uses in this tutorial is part of the Pro version of the Generate Press theme? I want to use it but I can't find it in my free version of GP.
You may check the premium version details of generatepress theme here. https://generatepress.com/premium/ Click on all modules and watch the videos of each module. It is a pretty decent theme and you can do many things in the premium version.
I can see that now, thank you so much!
I purchased the premium version while following along with Jay, and there is no sections on mine either, I selected every option as Jay does in the video training. Perhaps Jay could explain.
As far as I understand, from what Jay says below, the Section feature should be included in the Premium version of Generate Press. Maybe it makes sense to contact Generate Press Help Center and they could help you out.
