Why did you select Generate Press? Is it due to SEO friendliness? How is Ocean WP instead? I'm using this theme in my websites because I find customization options are quite similar in both, but not sure whether Ocean WP is equally SEO friendly or not.
Hi, you may like view this link Best optimized SEO WP themes
Thank you. According to the shared link (Keny44's tutorial), Ocean WP ranks 2, and Generate Press ranks 5. Then why Jay is suggesting to use Generate Press? I find the clarity of the articles' featured image and other images are a bit prominent in Ocean WP than that is in GP (free version). I have chosen Ocean WP for my blogs for this particular reason (clear images are essential in one of my websites), and I am using this theme for quite a long time for my blogs. But definitely, SEO is more important. I felt in doubt because Jay is suggesting to use Generate Press in this training.
The tracking ID doesn't seem to be included in Analytics any more. I copied and pasted the Google Tag Manager codes into the head and body parts of my theme editor. Is There still a way to get the UA-xxxxx number?
Hi Better u use google kit plugin, all Brand automated set to you.
Hi Jay, Ive just followed your training and Google analytics isnt being read by Google search console. Its telling me to verify other ways and I dont know how to do it. Please help . Thanks a lot
So, do you think that my website would look too confusing then because I use columns? Not simple enough ? I'm not sure what to do here, should I really change it to just 1 column and not add the side widgets ? Because that's what we should do according to Jays' seminar, right ? Does it look confusing to you guys ? Thanks ! www.everythingverysmall.com
MIne is just an opinion as an observer of the site, but when looked at via mobile, the side widgets are pushed to the bottom of the page, at least in my experience. Not sure if that is a negative, but at least a consideration. Not sure if that helps, just my two cents.
ok thank you
Thank you, Jay, and All for this great lesson. I just created a logo but too big and made my menu bar to disappear automatically while using a cell phone. However the menu bar is visible while using the laptop. Any help please? I also did not understand how we get the sitemap.xml or how to set it on word press. Thanks.
Maybe it’s because your theme is not responsive. Please check out your theme features. Regarding the sitemap, the following from Marion will help. Sitemap: Using All in One SEO Plugin Sitemaps, Sitemaps and More Sitemaps Tom
Many thanks, Tom. I will be back immediately I am done. Stay safe.
You’re welcome. Just in case, a responsive theme adjusts its layout to the screen size and resolution getting better readability and usability. The way how you see your site on a mobile device is different as you see it on a desktop.
Very true sir. How ever, if the menu bar is absent, this may reduce traffic or cause many to find it difficult to browse your site. I shall do my best to fix it. Thanks for the concern.
