Hi Jay! Thanks for the webinar. My favorite section this time was about the +100/-100 section related to keywords and stop words. Very good advice. Best regards, Igor
Google plus has now closed.
Hi Jay! Wow, I'm doing this lesson over a year after you made it and it's still awesome (except for maybe the Google+ strategy.) I have a couple questions: The first is about list based content and keyword research. Say I find a Great(!) keyword like "Dog Breeds with the Highest Life Expectancy" in Jaaxy. But "10 Dog Breeds with the Highest Life Expectancy" isn't great at all in Jaaxy. Would the 2nd one still do better? Also, is the AMP plugin still a good idea? Lastly, when you say we should use internal links "going forward" does that mean just in future posts and we shouldn't bother going back and putting them into previously written posts that are already indexed in Google? Thanks in advance!
Thanks for the list. I could not think of the plugin name AMP results. Once again thanks!
Ok Jay, so on google search console I have nothing there....I followed instructions to add my property but still nothing shows....no internal, external anything. Please help.
I did figure out the fetch as google but for the chart I have "no data" ?
Hi Amanda, It will take time for Google to collect data for your website. The frequency Google crawls your website will also vary. Google visits my website about once a week at the moment. It will may be more frequent if you post more frequent and submit your post and sitemap more frequently. So if you have submitted your post and sitemap, then it will require a bit of patience for Google to fully crawl your website and start populating the stats. Kind regards, John
Hi Amanda, I will try and assist: Google Search Console has a new interface and is slowly moving over to it. At the moment, you are still able to go to the old interface. After adding your property you should be able to select it (in top-left corner if in the new interface). Scrolling right to the bottom, click on "Go to the old version" In the old interface, expand 'Crawling' in the left menu and click on 'Fetch as Google' As for posting on Google + : Google announced that Google + will be shut down soon. https://www.theverge.com/2018/10/8/17951890/google-plus-shut-down-security-api-change-gmail-android So I am personally not posting to there. I hope that helped. John
