Hi, I see many answers here already. All the best. Florentino

FileZilla shows you file directories in 2 windows; one is for your own computer and the other is for your website.

Hi Clarissa,
Wondering if you've just watched video from WA? Sometimes you can get more in depth coverage of a concept or software searching YouTube.

Hope this helps

All the best

Hi Andrew, thank you for your reply.

Yes, I have had a look and they are based on the following steps being applicable:

1. Open FileZilla

2. Click File => Site Manager

The issue I am having is that the only option I am given is to 'add directory' and when I click it, it goes to my Macintosh folder. I am not sure how to connect it to a server or public files this way. I will continue this research tomorrow as it is 3:30am lol. I almost lost a large piece of work that I was working on for my website today so I need to back it all up asap lol. I'll get there eventually. Thanks again for your reply.

Kind regards

Clarissa

I hope you are all well. I really need help with my website, Guys. I feel like I have tried everything I can to make my website produce money. However, I am unable to tap into

I agree with Diane. You don't seem to have taken any of the Wealthy Affiliate training and applied it to your website.

While your site is very appealing visually, it doesn't really tell the visitor much. It is just a store.

And! All of the links under Treatments don't go anywhere. I get a 404 error whenever I click on one. So that's not doing you any good.

Another thing is, you don't say right on the Treatments page where exactly you are. I assume that you can only give these treatments to people who live near you. So it would be prudent to put that up front and center. And fix the links to each treatment.

So, yeah. It appears that you haven't followed the training here at all, and that is why your website isn't really going anywhere.

You need to load it up with content that is based on really good keywords in order to take advantage of the SEO training that is given here. That is the ENTIRE premise of the Wealthy Affiliate platform.

Hope this helps.
Tracy

Yes, thank you. I have removed the treatment section as I would not be able to perform treatments in our current environment. This is the reason to change the function from a store to a more personal experience and concentrate on the podcast and building a following. I will also concentrate of SEO as well and sharing on social media. I hope it this will help my website to go somewhere. I appreciate your comments and the time taken to look into my website. Hopefully, I can improve things. Thanks again.

Kind regards Clarissa

Hi - perhaps I am missing something as I viewed your site using my mobile phone, but I found it difficult to navigate, and couldn't actually find any blog posts to read.

It just seemed to be a series of links that led to other sites. No personal opinions, no in-depth reviews, nothing to show that you are an authority on your subject.

I will check it again tomorrow from my PC, to see if I can understand what you are trying to achieve.

Hi Diane Scorpio, thank you for your comments. I agree with the lack of personal opinions which is the reason I started the podcast, although only four weeks ago. Yes, I would be grateful for further in-depth insight, as my aim is to achieve. Many thanks. Kind regards. Clarissa

Hi - Tracy has made some valid points which you need to take into consideration. As you have been a member here for over 2 years, I wonder if perhaps you would benefit from going over the training again.

You need to get your site on the first page of Google, as that is how visitors will find you, which may lead to purchases. The only way to do this is by having lots of written content, which should be added to your site at least 2 or 3 times per week. Podcasts will not achieve this. You need blog posts of at least 1000 words each which provide valuable and useful information.

You need to show Google that you are an authority on your subject, which usually takes at least 40 posts to achieve. At the moment, you are just another selling site among the millions already out there.

Your Instagram link doesn't work. Your Privacy Policy is impossible to read as it is a strange colour combination.

Your spa hotel section simply consists of dozens of links to Booking.com, with a 2 sentence description of the resort. And even that description is copied and pasted from other websites.

Your skincare section simply takes people away from your page to the product websites, with no persuasion as to why people should buy them.

the whole point of a website is that it should provide, useful, interesting blog posts that people want to read. They want to know your personal opinions. Why do you recommend a particular skincare product? Is it value for money? What are its benefits? Does it have any disadvantages? Why would you recommend a particular spa? Is it luxurious? What are the facilities available?

There are no shortcuts. You need to start writing long, informative blog posts.

Hi Diane Scorpio, I really appreciate the transparency in your comments. Yes, as I have introduced the podcast, it accompanies a weekly blog post, here is the fourth blog episode: https://herluxurywellness.com/emerging-from-emotional-spaces-episode-4. I need to organise the blog so it is more seen.

With the continuation of the blog and the podcast, it will average to 1-2 posts a week, so possibly could see more interaction within the next few months? That would be good.

The Skincare is a range of products I created, I wanted to keep the websites separate as they are two different ventures, however, yes, you are right, I should create an exclusive page for it on this website to show its worth and benefits.

I guess it would not harm showing a little bit of knowledge gained from 20 years in the beauty industry lol. I think I have been projecting my trust issues onto the world through my websites lol, I should work on building it back up.

Thank you so much for your time, and further comments are welcome. You are brilliant, and I am going to work through your comments to make my gems nice and shiny lol.

Have a great day

Hi All,

I am wanting to create an MLM website for my online business and while researching plugins to use, I came across the following: http://affiliate.wpindeed.com

Not sure what you mean by "MLM website". Do you mean that you want to create your own affiliate program?

You would need to be more precise with regards to exactly what you’re trying to achieve from your website.

Creating an affiliate program to sell products. Do you think http://affiliate.wpindeed.com would be a good plugin to use?
