Hey I’ve tried multiple web names for site but it appears they’re all taken?

Maybe we could help you. Tell us what you are interested in or what your niche is. We could all brainstorm. Feel free to private message me and we can brainstorm if you'd rather do that. Everyone is here to help where they can.

I had the same problem and found a couple that I liked that luckily were available. Good Luck!!

Hello Claire,

I agree with Eric, don't overthink! I appreciate that many domain names have been taken, however, it's amazing how many names are available if we make a few minor changes and keep thinking!

Just avoid any dashes or any abbreviations as people can never remember where the dashes are and will probably go to your competitor's website.

Wishing you success.

Roy

No need to overthink it. For a solid domain just choose something that's easy to read, easy to spell, probably no longer than 4 words...

When one name is taken, just change it up a bit and choose another. :)

Hi

If URL dot com and made a mistake, you need to purchase a new domain.

If URL siterubix subdomain, you can delete and start again, however I’d save my work in site content.

If title and tagline, settings > general edit and save changes.

How to choose a new domain name

You can use Namemesh dot com - look in SEO & MIX columns

You can also use leandomainsearch dot com, you input a word and it gives you another

And godaddy valuation tool to find a memorable name.

However nowadays domains are not so affected by SEO vs writing quality rich content with good choice of keywords, latter of which would rank you in the search engines.

I would always go for a dot com domain name vs dot net or dot org as people's perceptions when they start typing they would typically assume it is a dot com.

I would not include dashes and check if the domain is copyrighted, trademarked and ' or registered to an established business.

You can use Jaaxy fo find something suitable and along the metrics would also search if the dot com domain is available

Look for searches (avg.) above 30 and competition (qsr. ) lower than 100, the lower the qsr the better.
