When I see people selling products online, I'm seeing a lot of people who are able to sell an item at a fairly low price and have hundreds of that item for sale, such as books,

The majority of people, myself included, will use free drop shipping wholesale suppliers. This is the best way to get access to products in bulk and at wholesale prices for higher profit margins.

I worked with a company called Worldwide Brands and they are a resource directory of certified wholesalers. It is important to work with certified wholesalers and not just wholesalers or drop shippers because many are not legit.

The resource directory that WB offers a vast listing of legit wholesalers and drop shippers. They also offer selling tools to make it easier to sell on eBay and Amazon. I wrote a blog about it on my website. If you want to know more, send me a PM and I will share the link.

Thanks, I appreciate that! I'll send you a PM once I remember how to do it, LOL.

Cindy

How do I find your blog link you mentioned to Cindy DeGroot for selling tools to make it easier selling on Ebay & Amazon

The link below is to the blog I wrote. Make sure to watch the video it contains. This video gives you a glimpse of the many selling tools available.

Thanks so much, boomergp08!

You are welcome Cindy

Amazon and eBay without a doubt!

I do most of my shopping, actually, on Amazon, but wasn't sure if they had the lowest prices of buying products in bulk (wholesale prices). And I've bought and sold on eBay for quite a few years, but even people on eBay get their bulk products from someplace other than eBay so that they can sell them ON eBay. ;)

Cindy

I used to sell on ebay a lot and I got my most of my bulk stock from sites like Alibaba and Aliexpress. Worth checking them out if you're interested in selling via ebay etc.

I also used to buy in bulk when local stores were closing down, or having a huge sale. You're more likely to find products like CDs and DVDs etc this way.

Hope that helps,
Steph

Thanks, preciousns, I will have to check them out. I don't know much about them, but always thought that those two sites sold mostly items from China, but I may be wrong?

Cindy

H Cindy, you're right, they're mostly from China. Those are the sites I'm presonally very familiar with.

Unfortuntely I'm not sure of many other sites non China based where you can buy wholesale stuff at really discounted prices.

Steph

If you see the status box on the right side click on the arrow and then click on draft. This will change the status of the post

Stansk, not sure where on my site (within Rubix) to find this, but will look...will this then make sure that my whole site is UNpublished, and not just one specific page within the site?

I'm working on my site, and one place on there I was only able to save what I had done by clicking the button that said "Save and Publish". The only thing is, I'm not done wit

Hi Cindy great to meet you. It's actually quite simple to change them. Bring up your posts and click on the one you wish to change. there will be four links on the left Edit | Quick Edit | Trash | View. Click on Quick Edit. On the right you will see a status box with a arrow. Click on the arrow and you will see Draft. Click on that and your post will revert to draft.

Yes. It's a matter of editing choice!

I think the "save and publish" button I had to click on wasn't on a post I had written (I haven't written much yet), but was within the workings of my website itself as I was setting it up...how do I unpublish my website as a whole, itself, from the Internet?

Cindy I am not sure what you are trying to do? If your webite not working correctly and you have just started just delete the site and start over. Just build another. Is there a problem with the current site? If you want you can use mail so it will be quicker.

For a newbie, what happens AFTER the first 7 days? I am about to write up my "Getting Started" page on my site, and want to explain how it al

They can still access their websites and the Level 1 courses (including Bootcamp) and they can still read everything that's going on. BUT they lose access to all communication - no Live Chat, no blogs, no comments, no nuttin'

Hello, Cindy!
They will be able to keep both websites forever FREE. They will have access to the "Getting Started" Course and Phase 1 of the Bootcamp. Towards the end of their 7 day trial period, they WILL receive a notification to upgrade via email. Whenever, they are in WA, at the top of, there will be a reminder/discount offer to upgrade. If they choose not to move forward, they lose access to communicate within the WA community. Meaning, ALL blogs, Live forum/chats, comments, and discussions will be unavailable.

To help write your "Getting Started" page, take a look at this tutorial. "BIS" (the Author) gives some really cool tips on how to make the most out of your first 7 days. .

I hope this helps. Wishing you the very best as you continue on your journey!

Latrice

Hi Cindy
At Starter only the first starter course "Getting Started" is available. After the first 7 days all that happens is you loose access to the live Chat and Live Comments Pages else most of the starter functionalities are still available.
Hope this helps.

Just kidding. You need to go Premium or you do not have access to the community and get to read smart butt comments like what I just wrote.

We are tickled you are here. It's just $19.

Chris, thanks for the chuckle. We all need a bit of humor every now and then!

You are so welcome, Latrice. What a lovely name. I named my son , Jedidiah. ...Jed...did...die...ah.

Mother's name was Captola. I wish I was named something that every other person I know, was not.

Thank you, Chris, for the compliment. Love the names of both your son and mum! They are very unique.

Yeah...I KNOW!! Right?? Then she names me Chris. When the teachers would say, "Chris," 25 kids would turn around. lol

You get beat with a wet noodle.

Hi Cindy, which course lesson are you at the moment? All these things are taught systematically step by step here in WA. Your question is well answered in Course 3. I will encourage you just to relax and follow the lessons soon you'll be there.

Best wishes

Paul.

You'll find the banner ads in the Affiliate Program area - the link is in the side navigation bar - once there click on Banners. The short cut is using the air plane link at the top of the site

Simple copy and paste the code where you would like to have the banner appear. If you are placing it on a page or post, make sure to switch to the "text" mode in the editor.

If you want the banner in your side bar, you'll need to add it using a widget, and you'll find that under Appearance, then widgets in your dashboard

Thanks! Shewee...lots of stuff to learn! I just learned a "tiny" bit about widgets last night while working on my first site. So much to learn for this tech-challenged baby boomer!! ;)

While creating a website, can we change the theme midstream? Though I like the one I chose, it might be a bit more complicated than I want for my first website, and am looking

It's possible and easy to change your theme any time you want without affecting your content. The only difference is that some themes won't support small things like comment boxes etc, and those you can still include manually.

Hope all goes well.

Paul.

The best way is to set up a practice site so you can try out new themes to find the one you really like

No. You can change your theme very easily without a problem.

No it shouldn't do. I have just changed my theme and everything was still there. It actually looks a lot better and was easy to do. Good luck
