Making Sales - AMAZON
Hello everyone,
I need Help to understand how Amazon really works, I logged into my account and found that there an item ordered and then I saw 16.6% converstions- what does this mean?
I also heard from someone here that you have to make sales within 6 months of Joining Amazon Associates, my questions is how many sales do you need to make within that 6 months for Your account not to be suspended? Thanks alot
Cindy.

Hey there, 16.6% is your conversion rate so that is basically the number of clicks you are getting and the number of items ordered. So number of items ordered divided by number of clicks would be your conversion rate.
Amazon's rule now is you need 3 sales in 180 days or they will kick you off of being an associate. However I heard it's really easy to reapply and get accepted again.
Okay, so If you start in July, Your 6 months end in January right?
Hope I can have my sales by then if not I will reapply..Lol.
Thanks for Your quick help.
Cindy.
Yeah, whenever you became an associate, if it was in July, then yes 6 months from then would be January. I'm sure you will. If you see your traffic is increasing each month, then the sales will come.
Anytime,
Robbie

My account has been suspended since I have not made a sale. I believe you can reinstate your account.
