Lipstick on my tooth!
I have not written or done anything in 2 weeks. My rank is down, my spirit has been down and my creativity is down. I've been in a funk, can I get a witness! Clueless what to write or if anyone will even read it. Sigh! So I decided to do something to get out of this funk. As a woman, I went for one thing I can control. I cut my hair, colored it then put on makeup, took a new profile picture. Satisfied and feeling better that at least I didn't look as old as I feel. So I put my camera stuff away and examined my photo. Yes, there it is. Lipstick on my pushed out tooth. Seriously!? *&%$ No way I'm setting up the lights and camera and doing that all again. Phooey! Well, you know what. I ain't perfect and neither does my profile picture have to be. God loves us imperfect people. We are the best and only thing He's got to work with so here it is. Lipstick on my tooth and all! You know what else. It made me realize that my writing doesn't have to be either. Or my blog or anything else. As long as it's my best and talk to you from my heart about what I know. Even if it isn't perfect and I don't know it all. Isn't that freeing!? My biggest hang up is I don't feel like an expert and afraid to talk to people or try to sound like one. I will just go for it and trust the process! The training from experienced people and what I've learned. It doesn't have to be perfect. Just me. Because, that is all any of us really can be. I think writing this will hopefully encourage the other imperfect, newbie entrepreneurs like me to just move forward and be themselves too. Talk to people like you would a friend about what you know even as you are learning. When you stop learning is really when you stop growing. Dedicate yourself and you will move forward toward success. Just sit down and start typing. Just like here. You'll be amazed at what comes out if you only try. Blessings, Gail

Thank you, Howard. Truth be told. I hate pictures of myself and this gave me something to write about. Trying to develop that side and just want to give something for people to chuckle about. Sometimes you just got to laugh at yourself. And wanted it to use to encourage other struggling writers. Cheerz

Actually, I went through the same... and just now getting ready for a normal work again. I could not write or read, I was too busy with some issues in my life. But I did not stress myself, I needed some time off from WA... and this morning it feels great to be back.
I hope this encouraged you. This my way of trying to write again and totally empathize. My poor dog has been sick and I've had issues as well. Let's stay connected and encourage each other to keep on keeping on! I know will get there!
