Welcome to My Acres of Diamond
This is an excerpt of a recent blog from my website.
Earl Nightingale narrated a true story of a farmer who had acres of diamond in his farm without knowing it. This farmer had heard tales about how settlers had made millions by discovering diamond mines. The farmer got so excited about these stories that he sold his farm and went in search of diamonds.
Unfortunately he spent the rest of his life wondering and searching unsuccessfully for the gems. Broke and desperate, the farmer drowned himself.
One day the person who bought the farm found a large stone in the stream within the farm. It turned out that the stone was indeed a diamond of enormous value and that the stream on the farm was covered in them. The farm was to become the world’s richest diamond mines.
The farmer who committed suicide had sold his farm in desperate pursuit of diamond and wealth elsewhere, without realising that he was sitting on one.
I am claiming my acres of diamond in the gift I already have. Are you standing in the middle of your own acres of diamond and about to quit?
Share your own acres of diamond story dear friends. Let's enrich one another.

I have had to throw out some apples in my time because they were rotten. I was tempted to throw some out because they looked bad, but worked really well for pie or even apple sauce.
If you have some land/opportunity, don't give up until you find out that it is really rotten.
Thanks Chuka!

What a beautiful summary Bruce. Often everything we need is around us, but we don't see them or take them for granted.
We are all diamonds Chuka....but some people take a long time to realise...you are one of them!
