In Search of Excellence
This short blog is to share my journey and some insights with those who are new here and hopefully, you may find it helpful.
One of the things I'm painfully aware of (because I've done it a lot) is the search for excellence, which unfortunately results in procrastination.
When I work with clients these days, one of the most common denominators of inaction is the desire to get everything to align perfectly before taking the next step. Nothing in life lines up perfectly. The road to success is paved with failures and without taking those steps and making the mistakes, our experience is shallow.
I like the way Kyle makes us take action immediately on the courses and before you could blink, you've built a website. My website is far from where I would like it to be, however, having it there and the experience of taking those baby steps have been awesome.
Am I slow with the courses, absolutely. However, the only excellence I seek is providing my clients/customers with great experience. I welcome the mistakes I make along the way. Knowing that I'm not standing still is a big motivator.
Have a wonderful day.

You said it so well....I know I have bogged myself down wiht the excuse that "it' is not perfect and therefore I cna move forward. "It being a metaphor for many projects left unfinished over the years!
Keep up the good work, Chuka. I am also taking the slow road to launching the website, and I'm finding that very fulfilling. I've learned that if you do it right the first time, you're farther ahead in the long run. Best, Carol
You are so right Carol, thank you. When I eventually buckled down to get going, I was in a hurry and realized that sometimes hurry is fear and I was afraid of lagging behind. Behind what I asked? Then I decided to be myself and create a solid foundation and pace. Thank you again for sharing your insights :-)
