From Unconscious Incompetence
The story so far…
Mine has been a classic story of a mindset that was entrenched in unconscious incompetence about everything "techy", to gradually rise to the glistering conscious incompetence of attempting to build a website. That’s a result :-)! Mind you, I have a long way to go to get to unconscious competence but I am liking the journey. Lots of learning and great support along the way.
I have now completed my website, written content for the three pages and my first blog! The beauty is the learning. Grumpy moments, frustrations when writers’ block occurs, not knowing how to… about so many things. The good news is that so far, I have overcome the challenges with the help of the community. I'm also able to integrate the learning into my coaching website.
There have been many things I never knew about building a website and creating content. Not knowing that I didn’t know made me unconsciously incompetent. It truly reminds me of so many things we didn’t know that we didn’t know (tongue twister and probably grammatically challenged)!
The fun is that every lesson peels another layer of the onion. I find this motivating and making me want to get on with the practical assignments so I could get on to the next. Good job! I can't wait to look back to where I started when I have completed all the courses. I may probably need a telescope to see it…

I think we all felt like that at one point and guess what, I don't think you ever get to the middle of the onion. There's always something new. ~Debbi
