How Many Hours Do You Work on Your Website Each Week?
Just taking a survey here.
How many hours per week, on average, do you spend actually writing content and promoting your website?
This does not include time you spend in the learning center or any other busy work.
On average, I spend 5 hours per week building content for my new Wealthy Affiliate website, and about 2 hours per week promoting it.

And how do you breakdown the time you sped? What activities do you focus on and how much?
Actually, I'd guess the 20 to 30 hrs per week are spent on my website, and I spend other time answering comments, etc. I schedule my posts, 3 a week, and then work around that schedule to do all the stuff I have to do to get my posts on there. I also spend some time each day with training. There is always plenty of that to do.
I have two websites. I would guess I average about 18-20 hours a week. I also have a full time job.
Hi Chuck,
I am working on my website four to five hours on weekdays after work and on the weekend another 20 hours.
Trying to get the traffic up organically is my goal right now!
It's hard to separate the time spent here on WA reading these questions and blogs from my work on content and promoting it as I am sort of simultaneously doing all throughout the day. I would say I spend about 3-4 hours on the WA stuff and 12 hours on the content and promotion every day 7 days a week.
It is a good question, Charles!
I would think about 12 -15 hours.
It is not enough.
Aloha, Jenna
Yes, today I was for many hours, just fixing 1 translation of a post from English to my Native language, post was already translated, I was just really fixing, language, vocab, organizing a bit SEO-wise and pics ALT and descriptions... and I did not finish after 6 hours!
Yes! I know what you mean, Luiz!!
I'm German. Apply three correction steps. Get better and better!
But it takes time.
Hanging in level 3 for a month now. So what?! It takes what it takes. Learned here to deal with lack of power, internet and other crazy things. This is life.
I want to be fast but often slower is faster!
Enjoy the WAY!
Will see you around!
Aloha, Jenna
I have been doing a super intense at least 6 hours a day :D I am on FIRE TURBO mode! and I can see results in site stats, even every week!
I might be more like 10-15 hours a week doing affiliate marketing overall, some weeks more though.

More than 50 hours per week here. I spend more than 80% of my free waking time doing something related to developing my website such as
research
writing content
planning
reading relevant books
training
etc
Nice survey BTW!
Maybe I will do something similar in the near future :)
Thank you so much!
Glad I could be of help. Here's to your success.
