Do You Still Love Your Niche?
Here's my question for today. Do you still love your niche? Or, do you wish you would have chosen something different?
I'm going to assume you have been blogging for at least a year and you have written at least 100-200 articles.
If you've done that already, please answer my question. Do you still love your niche OR do you wish you would have chosen something different?
I have two large websites, a military website and a MLM website. I still love writing for my MLM website, but not so much for the military one. I've written around 1,500 articles on each website.
I look forward to hearing from you!

Blimey, Chuck, that's a phenomenal number!
I have a theory about work and money.
You can work at something you don't like for a period as long as the money is massive compensation.
OR
You can work at something you really enjpy and the money is secondary as long as it's keeping the wolf from the door.
:-)
In practical terms, if I had a niche that was making money but which I'd grown out of love with, I'd keep it going, outsource, etc to keep making the money.
If I loved my niche I'd just keep going regardless.
As for my current niche - Meh! :-)

Just starting but thought I would share anyway. I am struggling big time to nail down a niche. I am probably over thinking it but did not realize I would hve to be a blogger about my niche. I am in final deciision mode determining what I like versus what I feel would be most salable.
Thank You Chuck. That is easier said than done but a cathartic experience that is aided with patience...
Well, I only have about 70 posts on my website, but am not at all unhappy with my niche -- glad I chose the one I did.
Cats.
It is a popular niche. I saw somewhere, for example, that there are well over 100,000 cat blogs. Quite a few of those are websites. However, Google also says that there are 30 million hits on the word "cat" in a month...that is a million a day...I will just hang in there until some of that traffic comes my way.
I'm not here for a long time but I really
love my niche and what I learn when I write my article.
I think we have to take the time to choose it, to be
sure we will not get bored.

Not a particular niche but it serves as an information site for the church members for a particular denomination.
If you are asking about affiliate marketing, it's about 2 months since I joined WA. Hence, still have a lot to learn from you guys :o)
Hi Charles
So how long have you had these sites?
1500 articles on each. WOW
You have come to the right space to include these websites..
just thinking that's 3,000 articles. WOW
I am new at this and have only been doing this for six months so have a way to go.
I have a question. Are you making a full time income on these sites?
I would love to know.
All the best
Jennifer
Oh yes, the websites pay the bills and then some. One launched in 2009 and the other started in 2013.
I still love my niche though my rate of pushing out content is not that impressive. Your output is really good. You have given me a goal.

HI Chuck:
You have expressed what I've been thinking over the past few weeks. I haven't posted as many articles as you have, but I now wish that I had chosen a different niche.
I actually have another in mind that I think is more suitable for me and for which I can write many more articles. So over the next few weeks I'll arrive at a decision - if I should put more effort in the current one or move on to the other.
All the best.
What niche do you do now and what are you considering?
Hi Chuck, thanks for asking.
I'm presently doing newborn babies and parenting for them, but I'm thinking about health and wellness as there is more scope and variety for content.
