Taking Time Off Is Good!
I've been quiet this weekend as I went for a 495 mile journey to pick up a new Batmobile ;-)
It's a 20 year old MGF that needs a little TLC, which I'll more than likely do up and then sell on! Or, should I keep this as my new Batmobile? :-)
It was a lovely sunny dry day to be out on the road for 12.5 hours with my companion Beau, taking a few stops in the countryside to stretch his legs on the open fields (I forgot to take pictures of him running, I'll remember for next time!).
Sometimes, you just need to break the mold or routine, leave the computer behind, and just drive! Doesn't always have to have a purpose, but it's great to switch off and just relax. Just you, your thoughts, and maybe some music playing in the background. Windows open, fresh air, and the lovely Autumn breeze :-)
I'll be back in action tomorrow, but now, it's off to cook the chicken :-)

Thank you Frank, and the flip option was the first choice, so we'll see, it might be nice to keep :-)
This reminds me. I need to take few day off to learn to type faster. I was making progress with a typing course, but then put it aside since I was writing more. Make sense? No!
I think I will take an hour each day to practice typing and then continue writing, but slowly.
Sounds god Richard, or you could always use Speech to Text, Windows 10 has a built-in solution for this, or you might want to consider Dragon Dictate.
Very awesome, Chrystopher! I would keep except that, besides perhaps needing a little TLC, they put the steering wheel on the wrong side, so perhaps a glaring defect which should be of immediate concern! 😲🤪

I was an ice cream man for a couple of months one summer. The ice cream truck was an old mail truck with the steering wheel on the wrong side. They make them like that so the mailman can reach the mailboxes without having to get out and walk around.

haha nothing wrong with our steering wheels ;-) but sure, when I'm on a call to the US, I'll deliver the mail at the same time haha

I was thinking of the drive my husband and I took to San Diego. We got up very early in the morning and was able to see the sun rise as we drove. We had no purpose, just wanted to take a drive. I'm ready to do it again, so I understand.
