Comments Or No Comments? GET COMMENTS!
Is this success? I think so
On many occasions i have checked out other peoples blog posts... and also on many occasion I have seen very little going on in the way of engagement and comments. This goes for blogs here on WA and others outside I have seen.
I have always taken heed of the training here and have taken commenting very seriously
With that... I now have 2000 comments on my site.. and believe me, my traffic reflects it...
I have made a lot of effort to be engaging both on my blog and socially... and it makes a difference
I was reading one post today on here with reference to the WA SiteComments dying of death,, DO NOT LET IT HAPPEN!
Get comments.. you can never have enough!! You will see forward movement if you have comments on your blog.. and reply to them all.
Every day my website traffic builds up .... and comments are key to this!!!

A phenomenal achievement getting comments for theislandofrhodes, Chris! It is an excellent site - I know I have commented on several different posts, myself.

If there is an issue they will fix it yes... comments are so important. . and I can see the advantage of having them .. my site is heading up .. and they have made a difference.. this and social media are vital tools

Wow...that's impressive...you are obviously giving a lot of comments yourself. Do you write a response to all those comments?

Yes, it is important to engage... every person that comments deserves and answer... answer all of your comments... it will create engagement
That is an amazing amount of comments. I see your website all the time on site comments and love hearing about Greece and leaving a comment. This has inspired me to get some more comments for my blog. I always figured that even if I am having trouble thinking of content I can always get comments.
Wow does that mean you've actually written 4000 comments to earn the credits to request comments on the platform or do you get your comments another way?
I'd love to get more comments but I haven't had much success with the comments platform. Would love to know how you achieved this! Well done! :)
OK a lot of them have come from WA yes.. and I have written my fair share of comments too and given feedback...
A lot of my comments are also from Organic traffic and/or Social visits
Stopped using this system two years ago, after they introduced changes which allowed recipients of comments to reject them so easily without negative effects for them. It became a waste of time, no plan to get to it again. But it is great if it works for you.
Yeah not only the SiteComments buddy... Comments in general .. whereever you can get them from.
A lot of mine have been from Organic Visits too.

Nice, my latest comments request is on Aug 6, 2018 and is still waiting, I am a bit off from this feature.
Yeah sometimes there is a delay Loes.. but is it the Comments Platform? Or lack of people taking advantage of it?
I don't know what it is, I know it is just not working for me, I do nowadays one comment each time, and wait weeks for a comment, I give 2, get 2 credits and ask for one. Maybe others only pay credits and not giving comments?
It pretty much stopped working for me when I requested comments as soon as possible. Now I have chosen to spread them out over at least 7 days and I'm having much better luck with that. In fact, after I posted the longest piece of content I've ever written last night, I requested 2 comments on the SiteComments platform and received one already. I'm hoping this trend will continue.

Very very truthful post. I think the main issue here with people not leaving comments, is that we are applying the training and getting posts ready, that we don't always read others blogs
But...
As you have pointed out, they are a great source of inspiration and ideas

It certainly is and its one of the reasons my own blog is being built in the style it is, as it came from looking at and reading others blogs
