A Message for Starter Members!
I wanted to write this, as over the last few days I have seen a lot of questions arising as to why people are not ranked in Google, plus further questions with reference to SEO techniques and how long it will be before they start seeing hundreds of dollars rolling in...
Now i have aimed this blog at the starter members.. as when these questions have arisen I have gone on to check personal profiles.. and they have been from Starter Members who have been here at WA a very short time.. sometimes a day or two...
It is important to understand that Google Rankings do not come overnight.. or a week .. or a month... It takes time to build trust with Google...
This can only be done by following the training modules in the Certification Course.. getting the templates in place and CREATING CONTENT...
There is no magic trick to getting ranked in Google and going on to make lots of money... So just after you publish your first piece of text, there is no rush to be diving into the search engines to see if the world can see it...
I certainly understand the anticipation and the excitement though.. We all want to see progress and to see for ourselves that efforts are being recognized.. and they will be.. in time..
Just keep at it .. and try to put statistics and rankings to the back of your mind for now ..
Get through the training .. build out your website.. get as much content on there as you can (and this process never stops) and eventually you will reap the benefits of traffic and rankings...

Hi Chris - good reminder for those promised immediate results by guru's elsewhere.
It doesn't happen - you need to give Google, Bing etc content that they think their users are looking for, and even then, it needs to be better than the competition out there.
That can take weeks/months to build up - but as long as you are passionate about your subject, keep at it - your passion will come through in your writing and your posts etc, and people will start to recognise that.
Just think, if you were to build a bricks and mortar business, would you be trading next week with a loyal customer base? I doubt it - it would take months to get through planning, business loans, leaflets, radio ads, getting your name out there. Here you don't have the bricks and mortar, but you do still have to build trust, and get people through your door. This is a business (unless you're treating it as a hobby), and most of the same rules apply.
