When Life Happens, You Keep Going

You must keep going, and remember that you're not alone. I am guilty of mostly being a one-woman-show, I am very individualistic and independent, and I do not always ask for help when it comes to private matters, but we must. We are not alone.

Over the last four weeks, life has been busy dealing me a few hard blows. I stuck to my goals, didn't let it get me down. There was a lot to deal with lately, and except for 2-3 days that I stayed off WA, I continued my training, my content writing, promoting my websites, and focusing on my goals, because my goals and my websites are so important to me.

Last night though, I had a dream, related to some of the bad stuff that has happened lately. That dream was not pleasant, and I woke up, thinking of the person in the dream, and many other things that I didn't want on my mind. But when the mind is awake, it just doesn't shut up, does it ...? Mine never does. It's always talking, non stop.

So, today I finally came to a point where I thought, I need a break, it has been too much over the last month, I need to breathe ... And I also started looking for solutions. The one thing I can solve is my job situation. The rest can't be solved ... there I can only do my best to accept and forgive and let time heal. But I can find a new job after I finally had the last straw with my present employer. I can at least solve that.

And so, I decided to write this blog, not to whine or complain, because I keep on going. Life happens and tries to steer you off your path, but you stay right on it and keep going, face the hurricane winds (I've actually done that literally in a category 3 hurricane, but that's another story). I decided to write this blog, because I know that there are WA members who are going through similar difficult situations, and who sometimes feel like giving up, like they can't do it.

Do not ever feel that way, giving up is a word that shouldn't be in your dictionary (it isn't in mine, so cross it out too please) stay on your path, beat the wind, keep on going, go for your goals, accept, forgive, fight, focus, do not give up.

I also wrote it to help myself. What I'll do later today is go to the beach, because the beach always brings me peace and clears my mind, but I thought that writing this blog would also help me a little.

And I wanted to ask for help (advice basically). Yes, I need to learn how to ask for help. I would love any suggestions on good internet side hustles to earn some extra money. I signed up for Swagbucks, is it any good? It looks OK to me. I signed up for Chegg for online tutoring, but there was nothing during the summer, I need to check if I am still a member there ;-) If anyone knows anything that could help, I would be grateful for the suggestions.

Thank you, and have a wonderful day, full of writing, Google rankings, trainings, connecting, and $$$$

Life can be so tough on us at times. I know all about it. You seem to be a good writer. Why not become a freelancer or join a group such as Fiverr, or iwriter. There are many things that you can do at Fiver,r for example you could write blogs, become a logo maker etc, etc., The money can be low to start with but if you're good you could soon be asking from $50 upwards for something like a blog of 1000 words. Jim

Sorry, I didn't see that this was already suggested.

It's still a good suggestion. I am going to check freelancer now :-)

Sorry you’re having a tough time. “Tough times don’t last - tough people do”. Robert Schuller
You’re tough!

Yes, I am :-)

You seem to be a good writer, so maybe look for some writing gigs on Fiverr, Freelancer, etc. I've also heard a site called "Wow Women On Writing", maybe that has some resources for you.

Cheers,

Michael

I'll check it out. Fiver is a good site. I signed up for it over a year ago, but then left it because I couldn't get the right photo size for my profile (Fiver insists on your profile having a photo and I just couldn't get it right for them), I will check about those profile photos again :-)
I heard about Wow, but not about freelancer, I will check both out as well. Many thanks for the suggestions!!

I'd love to help with the side-hustle, but i haven't found one that I can work with. Keep looking and don't let current circumstances get you down. There are always many of us in similar situations. I'm retired, but I still have "work dreams" that bring back all the negative feeling as I awake. A job change will help and I hope you find it soon.

Yes, working on the job change
