Pinterest Progress - Wow in 24 hours :-)

Wow! I am amazed at my progress on Pinterest. Four days ago my monthly views had gone down from 4K to 3.9K. I thought, OK, no biggie, I was told that this could happen in the summer. I started pinning an old post of mine and two days ago that post had - in just one night - obtained 2K impressions, and my views went up to 4.1 K. I am really astonished ...

I did not really go online last night or today, I was trying to digest an encounter I had with a rattlesnake last night - and it left me pretty shaken ... I did not do anything today, except for replying to some website comments in the early morning. Then, I logged off and spent all day thinking about my land and how to deal with rattlesnakes who simply appear every single summer, and it is hard to deal with it and I don't want to deal with them ...

So, this evening, I decided to check a few things here before editing my manuscript for a book I plan to publish soon (a historical fantasy). If there is one thing that pulls me away from the world, it is definitely writing and/or editing my books :-). I dive into another world and I am gone ;-) Before doing that, I went on Pinterest, just out of curiosity, and oh my God, in only one night, my monthly viewers went up from 4K to 6.5 K!!

I am truly amazed at my progress on Pinterest, it is funny how I was so set against using it, and now that I'm on it, it is going so great for me there :-)

Sometimes things seem like something you don't think they are for you and then they end up being just perfect for you and really helping you on the way. I am excited about my Pinterest journey, still learning, researching about how best to use it, there is still so much I don't know about it. We learn every day.

Since a few have asked, here is a training link called Pinterest Primer. When I did a search, I discovered that I had already bookmarked the training.

I think its time I expand my horizons, as well...I have thousands of images I could post/pin.

Thanks! That's good to know. I will check out this training.

Congratulations Christine.
It is an excellent tool. I too need to learn more about it to get the full use from it. It is such a popular site for all ages worldwide.

Thanks Linda!
A few months ago Jay posted some webinars about it.

Yes, I just haven't got round to them yet.

Well done. More impressions could lead to more traffic and hence more revenue 👍🏽

Thank you! Yes, that's what I hope will happen soon :-)

Congrats! I am having similar success with Pinterest also so I certainly understand your excitement. With the right pin and using Tailwind Tribes to automate even further and continue moving forward with success.
When it comes to rattlesnakes, I lived in florida for 11 years and found making sure you have a good cleared area around your property will keep them from coming. Most do not like a wide open area, and rely on tall weeds and ground cover to be in.
Best to you.
Bill

Hi William,

I could not clear many weeds after rain season last winter, because of a bad knee injury. I started clearing some in April and May, as much as my knee allowed it. So, although I cleared as much as I could, I was not able to do it properly this year ... I read online that rattlesnakes do not like the scent of vinegar, so I am going to buy lots of white vinegar on my next shopping trip and pour it around my property.

I like snakes, gopher snakes, the non-poisonous ones, and they are very welcome here. However, rattlesnakes are really dangerous, and last year a rattlesnake killed one of my dogs (my dog was sleeping, rolled over in his sleep, and there was a rattlesnake ...) I could not save him ... So, now that I have seen what they can do, I want them even less on my property. My dogs know that they are dangerous and they do not approach them, and the one that was killed also stayed away from them, but accidents can still happen ... So, I have to make sure that they stay away from my land.

Sorry about your dog last year. Wish you the best keeping them out. Perhaps one of your friends could assist.
Take care,
bill

Thanks, yes, I'm thinking of asking a friend ;-)
