A WA Update and a Thank you!

After my last post, I feel that I owe everyone an update. Sorry it took me so long, but I still had to take care of some things.

First of all, I really want to thank everyone for reaching out to me the way you did in my last blog post. I never expected that when I wrote it and I was close to deleting it because I thought that I should not be writing such things here on this platform. That post, though, showed me something beautiful, it showed me that WA's best and most precious asset are its people, the members.

When advertising the Wealthy Affiliate platform, one can write endless and well-deserved praises about the training and webinars which are indeed incredible and very well explained, and it is because of those trainings that I achieved so much and learned what I did, but I must make a mention of all the incredible people I have met here and who have seriously made an impact on my life.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for helping me through what I recently had to go through. I am beyond grateful for the help that was offered to me. The company that took money from me, though, and left me with no funds did so again this week. Money that was sent to me to cover expenses such as food and a laptop was immediately withdrawn from my account by that same company, before I even knew it. I found this out only a few days ago and naturally I was devastated ... and embarrassed to tell the wonderful people who had tried to help me what had happened ... I was back at square 0 ...

And I raised hell with that company. I seriously did. Mkearns said that I was a warrior, and although I did not feel like picking up my figurative sword again, I picked it up and wielded it once more ;-) I was tired of having to fight another battle, but I did, and I got more people involved; and finally, finally, today I obtained results.

Someone called me from that company and he apologized for all the trouble they had caused me. I am going to get a full refund this week, I should have it no later than Friday. So, that's an enormous relief. Although the money is not here yet, this time they called me and made an effort to solve this issue that had been dragging on for nearly three months. And I received an email in confirmation of the reimbursement they will give me, so I am beyond relieved and grateful.

Pinterest and Website Impressions

A month ago I started a Pinterest account and I opened three accounts for my three respective websites. Funny thing is that my vegan website went down from 10.000 to around 8,000 impressions after I joined Pinterest and site health went from blue to orange ... I thought that was weird, so I worked to get it up again. Site health fluctuates between blue and orange now, but today I checked on Google Search Console and my website impressions are up again to 12,800 impressions!

I have pins that have received over 200 impressions and one that features a recipe has over 600 impressions! My monthly views are now up to 958 monthly viewers, which is absolutely wonderful. I only opened my Pinterest account three or four weeks ago.

My other two Pinterest accounts are also doing great. For my MMO Pinterest account I was invited to join a group board :-) And my Pinterest account for my newest website is also doing well.

New Website

I started a new website last month. I was hesitant about it at first, because it deals with a topic I am loath to remember, burnout (I went through it from 2016 to 2018), but I started this website to help other people get through burnout and heal, and only in my first week my site health was already in the blue color! That website is doing absolutely awesome! Maybe it is the niche and also what I learned over the past year at WA, but my burnout website is doing amazing! It gets many shares on Twitter as well.

My First Amazon Affiliate Sales

After one year and 4 months at WA, I finally got my first affiliate sales! Amazon has kicked me out of their program twice, but I always re-applied, haha, as many of us do, I think. Amazon has some silly rules ;-) but we adapt to those rules, I guess.

A few days ago I checked into my Amazon affiliate account and I did not even look at my sales. I immediately typed in the product I needed an affiliate link for, and after I was taken to the product page I realized "hey, something seemed different on my home page."

After placing the affiliate link in my article, I went back to my Amazon home page and realized that, yes, something was indeed different, I had two affiliate sales! I only earned 0.30 cents, lol, but that is irrelevant, Getting those sales means that I can do this! And it is wonderful to see that confirmation! And if I can make 30 cents, I can make 30 dollars, and 300 dollars and 3000 dollars, why not?

Now I just need one more Amazon sale, so I can avoid getting kicked out ... Keep fingers crossed! :-)

So, this is my update. Things are looking much better, and hopefully this week I get my money reimbursed too! I am glad that I stayed focused on my websites and I wish everyone else all the best with their websites and their effort too. And once more, thank you from the bottom of my heart for the help that was given to me. I will never forget it!
