Christian it seems you understand English well enough to navigate the site and post questions. You'll probably be just fine. If you're not sure, try out a few of the courses to see how it goes. Then go for it!

The internet is world-wide so you'll be able to find an audience for your own country/language. As long as you know enough English to understand the lessons then you'll be fine. ~Marion
Just last week I had the pleasure of meeting AlbertCulmer who doesn't read or write and there is no slowing him down. I am sure you will do fine. If you are a part of WA, you quickly get the sense that we all can overcome anything that gets in our way. You have a HUGE community behind you, from like 140 different countries, so what's language but another tool to convey our ideas.

I'm not sure how well it works for someone who doesn't speak it at all, but I don't think not speaking it well should be a problem. People here are usually very patient and helpful, and I'm sure you should be able to find people who speak your language too if you feel more comfortable that way.
