Weird Quirk On Site Content Editor Caused a Problem!
Hi Everyone
I recently wrote a post on Site Content.
After checking it through, I also ran the "ABC" word check, corrected anything that was found if appropriate, and then published it.
Then I asked for some Comments on the post, which arrived amazingly quickly! The people who wrote the comments must have thought I was crazy, but they were kind enough not to mention it!!!
While I was looking at the comments on my site, I noticed a mistake in my text that I was certain I had not written.
When I checked further, I found that same mistake littered through all of my text.
Every time I had written the word "you", it had changed to "up your"!!! It almost looked as though someone was trying to send me a rude message!! And because of that my post made little sense and was very difficult to read!
It took me ages to sort it out on my site, to make absolutely sure that I had not missed anything.
I really do not understand how that could have happened.
Has anyone else had anything weird happen on Site Content?
I will certainly be going through all my posts with a fine toothcomb in future!!
Anyway, I just thought that I would give out the alert in case this happens to someone else!
Many thanks for reading this, and I hope you will all enjoy the rest of the weekend :)

Chrissie,
Yes this has happened to me but I installed Grammarly so when
I go to WordPress and edit for affiliate links they are found :)
I never thought too much of it figuring I hit the change all button for the article LOL - just until you asked here did it make sense that
possibly I was not hitting the wrong button :)

That IS strange. About the only thing that has happened to me is that when I have done the spelling correct thing and then published to my site, I discover that not all the spelling mistakes and punctuation have been taken care of.
I quickly go private and fix it all with Grammarly. I mean, it's an issue but not a big one and easily fixed.
Glad you got it figured out and I hope you were smiling when you first saw the problem. After all, at first glance, it is a bit funny but not funny haha.
Moving Forward,
Wayne
Well it is quite funny really - it sounded like I had Terrett's!!
