Unhappy With How Google Plus Displays My Post!
Hi Everyone
A while ago I wrote a post on my site about ScamAdviser.
It has actually been on the first page of Google for s few weeks! In fact it is probably mt most-read post!
I mentioned previously that I have been having some trouble with my Google Plus and have had to make a new one, which so many of you have ben kind enough to follow, and when I originally publishd that post I was therefore unable to publish it on G+.
So today I tried to do just that. I had already set my post up with a featured image, so I naturally assumed that that was what would show on my post.
But NO!
I was pretty horrified to see that instead Google had decided to feature an image which I had made from the ScamAdviser website as an example of the kind of thing they write.
This is it:
Right at the top of my post!
Well, obviously I don't want my post to appear headed by that! So of course I did not publish it!
What I cannot understand is why Google should pull out that image instead of my featired image, when it has always used the featured image for every other post I have uploaded to G+.
Does anyone have any idea why that should be?
I am sure that I can find a way round it by removing the image and copying it and pasting it instead, but I am really concerned that maybe other people have shared it and it has appeared like that without my knowledge!
Has anyone else experienced Google not choosing the featured image?

I didn't know Google+ had that ability to do that. That is mess up! I hope you found the way to fix it.

Do you use the social meta of the All in one?
if not you should Facebook Sharing - No Image Displayed you can debug the post then
Can I do this on Yoast too, as I am using that at the moment?

I heard somewhere that there was a social plugin that would do that, would you recommend that?
I haven't heard of this, please ask the community, if someone who's using Yoast knows about this, I have used Yoast for 1 month, after that, I went back to the SEO all in one
When I post on G+ it never chooses an image. I upload the one I want.
Can you just X that image? If so, then click on the camera and you can upload your image from your computer.
I tried that, but as soon as I added my link the same image came up!!

Hi chrissy,
Here is what I would do. Upload the image you want without your link. Publish that. If your featured image remains on your post than edit your post and then put your link in and see what happens.
