An Easy Mistake To Make - And To Avoid!
Hi Everyone
About eighteen months ago I purchased a new .com website. I set it up and did a little bit to it and then left it on the back burner whilst I was concentrating on other things, and almost forgot about it!
A little while ago I decided to go back to it, and there it was - GONE!!
At first I could not understand it, but when I went back through my emails I realised that I had missed a message that it was about to expire quite a while ago, and that therefore I had lost it and all its content. If I had realised a bit sooner I could probably have asked Support to restore it, but it is over six months ago now, so I decided that it was pretty unlikely, and I would just have to accept the loss, and make sure that never happens to me again!
How can I make sure of that?
Its really very simple! Make sure that "Auto Renew" is switched on!!
It is really so easy to do. I simply went to my list of domains and clicked on Auto Renew and followed the steps there. Once that is set up, then there is no need to worry about forgetting to renew your website ever again!
So please if you value your website, switch on Auto Renew so that you will never lose yours. If you should decode in the future that you no longer want your website, then it is equally easy to switch it off again.
Another way to make sure that you don't lose all your hard work is to create a clone of your website on a free Siterubix site. You can use a Wordpress back-up to re-populate that back-up site. You do regularly back up your Wordpress website don't you?!?
If you are not sure how to back up your website, then I have made a training on how to do that which I hope will help you. You can find it here:

So I hope that I may act as a terrible warning to you to ensure that you never forget to renew your precious website!!
Have a brilliant, positive and productive day everyone :)
