Can somebody please explain how this affects one another, niche, website name, domain name, keyword?
Domain name is the extension like xxx.com for commercial, xxx.gov for a government, xxx.edu for education, xxx.net is for an organization. Meaning just like which sectors you want to be in.
The website name is your chosen name, for example, my name => retirefrom9to5.com and Kyle and Carson name => wealthyaffilate.com . If you want to own a business you have got to give the company a name so that people can find you on the world wide web.
Niche will be what business you intend to do or sell or what are your passion that you want to share. Some people want to share about their travel, or health or food and even sport.
Keywords are the words you use on your blog so that you can be index in google and appear among the top 3 pages in a google search.

Domain name = Website name /URL
The domain name can be your niche or it can be any other name of your choice.
Your niche is the subject you are going to write about, hundreds or could be thousands of blogs, so it must be something to do with your passion or hobby.
Your domain name could also be a keyword and at the same time your niche. If all these fit together.

Take your time and write things down.
Take the words niche, website name, domain name and keyword and write down what each of them mean. You can look back at this. My first week I got website and domain confused and also niche.
I take notes during the lessons in detail so when it comes time to do the tasks, I can look back at them for the instructions. Some have many steps to get the task done. I am on Course #2 and already have lots of notes and will keep them all.
Think positive and it's great to leave us messages so we can help each other :)

I can't say if you acted too quickly but the question in this blog you wrote is information from Course 1, lesson 1.
We all learn in different ways but as long as we completely understand everything we learned it's fine. We can move on to the next lesson.
There is so much information to remember, this is why I take the notes.
I did miss a step once without realizing during Course 1 and was not where I should have been. That is when I realized I must have missed something...I went back to my notes and found it.
Just make sure you understand everything first.
It took me awhile to separate those two. This is a journey and it is better to take it slowly so you can master each step before progressing to the next step. I am currently going back through all the training for a couple of reasons. 1- I find there are things that I have forgotten or didn't fully understand the first time round and 2- the training is upgraded regularly as things change in the industry. I don't know if this helps you but I hope so. Margaret.
I have this impression that the domain name i chose as a beginner is not just okay, maybe i need to buy another domain and just start all over again

This is where we decide to select a topic or a niche,something that we will build our website abut and promote.
We then use keywords about that niche to get ranked and indexed within Google, later on.
As an example, say we selected the niche...." Jeans "
our keywords would be....
mens blue jeans
stonewashed jeans for ladies
hard wearing jeans
jeans for outdoors etc etc..
Our domain name would have to related to the topic and the niche that we selected
Kyle explains all of this in the training

Everyone here have different ideas for a particular niche, Example we might be in the same niche, but our ideas are different, so it's all about your ideas for the niche.
