Does Blogging Pay?
An event today shows just how well a blog can succeed.
A blog that started out in 2005, collating bits of existing news from elsewhere, and was sold in 2011 for $315m, today welcomed Duchess Kate of Cambridge as a guest editor.
How far will your blog go?

I liked your thought Chris!
It gives a person something to think about...
Blessings Chris.
Linda :)
This site says that my site is currently worth $387 USD:

Well I've seen your site, and it's worth a lot more than that.
It says mine is worth $606 http://pianoandkeyboard.net.webstatsdomain.org/ so I guess I should gloat, but I think your site is better than mine.
My other main site http://fattenyourpurse.com.webstatsdomain.org/ is worth $291. I wonder what the numbers are based on? Whatever, it's comforting to know we're making money, isn't it?
You can't rely on those sites to determine value. Consider that same site values wealthyaffiliate.com at $41,727. The value of the cash flows alone at Wealthy Affiliate are exponentially higher than that figure.
I think it's not so much the amount of money the website earns, but what you could expect to sell it for if you were to sell it somewhere like https://flippa.com.
IMc, if you've got 50,000 to spare, I've got some magic beans you might be interested in buying. They are sure to bring you great luck. And the best thing about these beans is that the more you pay for them, the more good luck you will have.
Many people will want to know what the earnings potential of a website and that is often used as the basis for valuation. See item #4 on Flippa's blog about valuation:

Thank you, Chris. I needed this. I'm trying out blogging as my first venture at WA. Its been slow go and a lot of hard work. Needed this encouragement.
