"Mobilegeddon" Is Coming April 21st
Greetings WAers.
I just read a piece on Entrepreneur.com and apparently Google is planning a huge algorithm update that will go live on the 21st of April 2015.
It's designed to derank non-mobile responsive websites so if your blog is not mobile optimised, make sure you fix that because you WILL lose rankings.
I think 2015 will be the first year that mobile search surpasses searches done through desktop computers so this update is coming at the right time.
Personally I use a premium theme that is automatically "mobile friendly" but I think you can find a free one that will be mobile responsive, but I'm not sure.

There's a WP plugin that will make your site mobile friendly. This happened to me the other day when I received notification from Google that my site was not mobile friendly. You can check out the plugin here:

I'm sure most of us that have a mobile responsive theme will see a big boost in rankings. Bring it on :) haha
