Hello everyone, my name is Chris and this is my third time around on WA. (read my bio for the full story). :)

Recently I started making sales, a lot of sales, on fiverr.com which started re-fueling my Internet Marketing dreams. It's not that they died off, it's just I wasn't motivated to do anything except hope for a miracle.

Anyways... I am here again, looking to start fresh! I am learning, doing the courses and what not and reading and learning! I am focused to the maximum! :)

The thing is I can't find a niche!I want to get ahead and start working with the knowledge I learned here but I can not think of a single niche I am intrested in! I can't explain it! Yes, I have read all the tutorials, searched Dmoz directories, visited Amazon, bla bla bla and still I have nothing

I JUST CAN'T DO IT! :(

I wonder if anybody has been in my shoes before, if you can help me out maybe!

I would love to hear what you have to say,I don't want all this motivation to die off! I kind of got the attention span of hamster so please help me out!

Many many thanks!

:)

Been in those shoes and sometimes still am. What do you like to do. It looks like you at least like to wright. You have read all the training. Then maybe it is just personal.
Just do it once, succeed or fail, you will still learn, just do it and then it will come. The next one and the next one. I have tons of niche Ideas my problem is to focus on the one to completion just to get to the point of the second time will be easier. Do a Niche on what you love. Maybe it might not be profitable but the learning is still there for those ones that are. Just my thoughts, maybe I should listen to myself. Keep on keeping on.
All the best to you, take care and see ya around.

Thank you very much Sir William,I am just going to do a personal blog, till I develop writing and IM skills.Maybe even promote some products I like..

We'll see! Thanks! :)

how do i close this account????

what do you mean?

Hi Chris
I don't know whether we met before but here is my advice for what it's worth.

I don't know whether your remark about having the attention span of a hamster is tongue in cheek or has some truth to it. No one can sort that for you - it's about the choices you make - simple as that. No excuses - decide how much time you want to devote to this, commit to doing it and take the action.

Lots of people have been in the position you were in. It took me ages to find a niche - but for me I realised I was wasting time doing mini sites just to make money. They don't hold my attention so there's no point. Not suggesting you're the same - just if you want it to hold your attention choose something that won't just interest you in the first flush of excitement but which you will enjoy for weeks and months at a time.

My third point is that I read your comment Carson about not wanting to sell a specific product just information. I hope that you have some idea about what that means to you. Not saying sites don't grow and develop - just make sure you start with a clear direction of where you want to go with it - or it's easy to get disheartened.

Anyway - I wish you the very best of luck this time round

Beverley

Hello there BIS! yes yes we've interacted before on here the past few times I was here!

When I said I had the attention span of a hamster I meant that I lose focus quickly, I am easily distracted! That is why I am shying away from just picking a niche becasue I know that if it is not 100% me I would lose focus immediately!

I have some ideas about information websites that I might be able to put together. Matter of fact I am researching a couple right now!

Thanks for your comments! I hope your knowledge and of other members here rubbs of on me!

:)

Hey Chris,
I hate to hear that you didn't get too far with finding a niche. I didn't either and this is my second time around or third time around at WA. lol but the fact that I was away and dealing with Corporate America motivated me to come back and get on it. I would just say find something that you can talk about "til the cows come home". lol

Hello there! yes I know how you feel, you leave IM but at the back of our mind you just know that THIS is your goal and you have to come back!

I guess I just have to keep focused and I guess my niche will reveal itself to me soon! Thanks for your thoughts! :)

Hey Chris, great to have you back at Wealthy Affiliate and I am happy to hear that you are already working through the training. WA has changed a lot since you've been here and there is just an enormous amount of training, tools, and help available now!

You mentioned not being able to find a niche. I have an answer for you. Promote WA! We have a bootcamp that is running right now where many folks here at WA are creating authority sites in the Internet marketing niche. Already there are people getting traffic and sales and the boot camp is only 9 lessons (days) long.

I strongly recommend jumping on board with this.

Here are a few links that you will want to know about.

First and foremost, the WA Affiliate Classroom:
https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/wa-affiliate-program

The Bootcamp course:
https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/wa-affiliate-bootcamp-starting-your-foundation/day-1-getting-rolling

If you get involved with this course you are going to build an authority site along side Kyle and I, and hundreds of others.

You KNOW Wealthy Affiliate, you KNOW the audience, you KNOW Wealthy Affiliate delivers a great experience and a ton of value, and you KNOW that you are helping people who join WA!

Promoting WA is a win/win for absolutely every party involved. Commissions are $100+ on average and conversions are very high if you have an authority site.

Why struggle to find a niche elsewhere?

Carson

Hello Carson, Thanks for your advice but I don't think Internet Marketing is the right niche for me,I mean I am passionate about it and about learn bout I think it's not right for me as I am still an amateur and I wouldn't know how to provide useful information.. I can't even find a niche! :|

I have others ideas but it's all about information. I won't be promoting an actual product. Just random information, if you get what I mean....

Anyway thanks again Carson. :)
