Hello Guys, So earlier today I read a blog here - Don't Enter the Negative Zone. It was about not letting negativity overwhelm you. I have to admit that reading this I really felt like I could definitely relate. There have been times lately where no matter how positive I've felt with my work there have been things that have totally knocked the wind out of my sails.

Checking my Clickbank, Share-A-Sale, WarriorPlus, and still no commissions. Even checking Google Search Console and seeing nothing has drastically changed for the better.

It made me think of this story from Greek Mythology...

The Tragic Tale of Orpheus and Eurydice

It basically has a moral to the story - Don't look back. If you really want something with all your heart keep going. Move forward until you reach your destination. Don't even look back once because all it takes is to look back once in dismay and you can lose everything.

I can not stress enough that I can totally resonate with this tale. Orpheus was a talented musician. He was gifted with Apollo's Golden Lyre and the Girls all wanted Orpheus.

A dream come true for a lot of men and you can bet things haven't really changed much since back in Ancient Greece but for Orpheus, there was only one Girl - Eurydice,

and Eurydice loved Orpheus too.

But sadly Eurydice died. Not long after her marriage to Orpheus. Eurydice was tragically killed by a snake bite. Orpheus was totally devasted. He did not want to live without his beloved wife. So, In his despair, he traveled to the depths of hell and begged Hades the God of the Underworld that he could resurrect his beloved Eurydice.

Hades agreed on one condition. That if Orpheus could travel all the way back from the underworld to Athens without looking back even once to see if Eurydice was following him he would grant his wish. Orpheus accepted this challenge but it of course proved to be too difficult. As Orpheus did look back and he never saw his beloved wife again.😥

A Sad Story

but can you relate? How many times do you allow your positivity and progress to be affected by the things that don't even need your attention?

I recently listened to the audiobook 'The One Thing' by Gary Kellar and what he says is spot on. focus on one thing at a time get it done. Do whatever you feel is most important and don't look back until it's done.

My homework for you guys if you are struggling don't turn around. Get what you need to do done. If you finish an article don't just think oh good I can check my Facebook or my Clickbank or whatever ask yourself if you are really done. Do whatever else that needs doing then check your Facebook etc. When you are really finished!

Don't let unnecessary things stand in your way

I am personally going to try this myself. No checking if I made xx money - not going to let anything put me off my work and when I actually do need to log in to say ClickBank if there is money there it will be a nice little surprise.

The only way is up, don't look back. A watched pot never boils. Set and forget it.

I hope this helps

Best wishes - To your success 🥂
