keep getting HTTP error. It was okay before the last wp update

resized my images to less than 1024 x 1024 pix in paint
That worked.

Hope this helps others

Trying clearing your brower's history or trying using a different browser. Also, try another image to see what happens.

Today I will try a different computer. I managed to upload a couple of images onto another of my websites. See what happens this morning with the different computer.

Thank you both for your help.

Glad it's working now.

That error is usually caused by the file name. Make sure the file name is only letters and numbers and no punctuation. The apostrophe is the usual culprit.

Thanks but its the same file name i used to get the file... I did change it also and re sized it

No ... changing themes did not work either. I'm using chrome and it keeps telling me about cookies. It says they should be enabled and they are. This is when I try to log on direct instead of through WA

Putting my original theme back.

Same thing with firefox.... cookie problem. then it goes okay.
still having HTTP problems. thought it was ***.Jpeg problem but a ***.jpg is the same its like hit and miss. I got one to load up.

I was able to add graphics to my other website. it has a different theme. I am going to change themes as it may noy be comparable with the wp update

I cant load graphics on any of my websites using wp 4.6.1 any more keep getting HTTP error

I will recheck with graphics that I know that I have loaded before

Adding your email address to your website leaves it open for auto-bots to read. So how can I stop this? Once these auto-bots get your email they sell it to spammers. Almost afr

I found a great and simple WP plugin called 'Cloak Front End Mail' It works great. If you have the email address setup in your Wordpress profile all you have to do is place [email] where you want your email to go and the javaScript does the rest.
When I first downloaded it, it said download failed but it was ok once activated it show up in the menu. You can also customise it with any email address.
I hope this helps others to stop the hundreds of spam mail coming into your mail box. Love it because (spam)bots cant read it but humans can.

Yep, just need to be smarter than them. :)

There are several simple solutions:
1. Add an image with your written email.
2. Break your email into small bits and tell people why (spam prevention). Just like I do it on my contact page: http://www.buzznitrous.com/contact/
3. Install a contact form plugin such as "Contact Form 7".
