How are you going to know when my premium is expired? Do I receive alert or reminders?
As long as you keep making your monthly or yearly payments you will always have a premium membership. It will only expire if your payments stop.

When nearing the time, a banner shows up on while logged in your WA platform, letting you know when you'd be locked out.
Subscriptions are collected automatically each month until you cancel.

You can never revert back to being a starter.
I also suggest you backup your sites, you can use the AIO WP Migration or Updraft plugins. UpdraftPlus is a premium and highly recommended

Do be aware that you can't go back to being a free starter, so if you cancel your membership, you will be locked out of the platform.

If your theme is set up for social sharing. Under your posts you will see the buttons such as share to Twitter, fb, ect. You can also hover over your post in the menu right click and copy link address to share to your social media.

Your site will replicate the theme you choose, so don’t worry much about the elements. Choose the theme you like the most and start building your site one step at a time following the training.

I agree with what Phil is saying about building out your site with written content first.
I was exactly like you at first, all worried about what my site looked like rather than what it had in it.
Get the content first, get your ranking then start playing with the look and theme of your site.

at the start try to stick with a plain white background and concentrate on getting at least 30 articles on there...
then come back and lok at your site for design...
if you do this hte articles can then go onto rank while oyu are sorting out your site...
if you sort out your site now what is going to rank...nothing...so your journey will take a lot longer....
write, write and write some more...
do create categories and assign your posts to categories but on a plain site ...your visitors are after answers.....
