I hope you are all well!

We all have the same time, each and every one of us has exactly the same time, 24/7 and it's what you do in that time, matters!

Let's say, for example, you can only invest in your self-education or business 3 hours a day, then make a "to-do" list of the things you want to get done and FOCUS ON THAT. Nothing else.

Don't even bother checking your emails, as you know what's gonna happen, there will be an email from a "guru" with a special offer, and guess what, you will click that link and start reading that site or watch that video, and then you may even invest in that offer...

Can you see what just happened... You lost your focus.

Here is what I do when I work on my business:

  • Don't check emails
  • Don't check your phone.
  • Log out of Social media
  • Create a daily "to-do" list and work from that list only
  • Focus only on your list.

In my personal opinion, this is the best way to move forwards.

What do you do to stay focused?

Have a blessed weekend, everyone!

I do as you -- I have an ongoing list which gets divided into a daily list. I have a pretty good schedule set up now, and that, too, helps with focus, as certain things have to be done on certain days of the week.

The emails that take up my time are trying to answer all the WA emails -- and I simply don't have time to get to all of them. I fit them in when there's a bit of time to spare. Sometimes, I must say not doing emails helps with the time factor.

Thanks ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ

Hi Chigs, I always make a daily to do list as well, and tick each task as completed. In addition, I check emails before I start, and never click on any shiny new objects. Iโ€™ve learnt my lesson as bought into a few in the past! I canโ€™t guarantee I wonโ€™t look at Facebook during the day, but am quite disciplined and only spend less than a minute!

That's great, Kathy. Many are disciplined like yourself and there are others who get drawn to shiny objects etc...

Well placed reminder, Chigs :-).

I practice the same as you. No phones, no emails, or other distractions while working on each of the tasks on my daily list.

Laser-sharp focus on "the ONE thing" is the answer.

I only listen to my focus music (classical) when working. It helps to keep my mind focused.

Excellent, Roy ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ
Never listened to classical music, if that helps even then I'd listen too... PM me some good ones please ๐Ÿ˜Š

Sure will, Chigs. I have some good ones lined up for you :-)

Exactly the trap I fell into when I first started here Chigs LOL!

This was a great read and thanks for this.

Thanks, Mark. I think many people look for over night success, push button system crap and when it don't work they cry out scam!

Chigs

Great stuff ๐Ÿ˜Š

Absolute truth, Chigs. I've made a habit of having a daily to-do list and it's helped to keep my focus and priorities in order.

I've discovered that when I stray away from that list and try to get through the day, I struggle. The list provides structure for me and makes sure Im not getting sidetracked.
