What Can I Say Except Thank You All
Rather than answering everyone individually as there are a lot of comments, can I please say a massive
to each and every one of you who left their thoughts in a comment.
I did intially wonder if anyone would even be interested in the reasons that Jaron Lanier gave or if you were like myself and thought he was maybe taking things a bit too far.
When I was reading the article, I did agree with some of what he was saying and disagreeing with other parts, but I didn't think that there was any need for him to say that we should be deleting our accounts.
I don't really post a lot of personal things on social media but I do post my posts from Wealthy Affiliate. It was very interesting to see what everyone's views were on the 10 reasons he had given as to why we shouldn't use social media.
Once again thanks very much and I will go through the comments and read them all and reply when I do get some time, but I just wanted to let you all know how grateful I was to you all for taking the time to read the post and comment and there were a lot of lengthy comments with all your views.

I found Flaming Text by chance one day. The other ones I use are Cool text and for my moving signatures I use gifmania.

I understand how time can run away with you and you may get behind in your responses.
I had a busy day yesterday working with my fiance on a plumbing repair job and was exhausted by the heat. When I got home all I wanted to do is sleep.
Today I have more time to read my emails and respond accordingly.
I hope you have a great weekend as well. I just got an email from a perspective job we need to bid on so I will end this message here.

We talked to the client on Friday and provided our best price and then sent an estimate on Saturday through email.
What I'm excited about is that I have been working on my fiance's website. I made two posts. What he loved was his About Me post.
He said I wrote directly to the customer from their point of view. That was a compliment since I'm learning to speak to an audience and this was a niche I felt I understood in our area.
I had fun writing the post, because he had images of a job he first completed in Texas and had a Youtube video of a harvest that his farm did in 2014.
It was the first time I added a gallery and video to a blog. It was easy to do.
