Thanksgiving Thursday
Just a very quick blog to say that I hope everyone is having or have had a good day today and to wish all my friends celebrating just now a
I can't believe that 5 years have already passed since I was in New York with my family at Thanksgiving. We watched the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in the morning and had the most beautiful apple pie from the Magnolia Bakery while we waited on the parade.
We then went to the Met Life Stadium to watch the New York Jets at night time and had a great time. It was an eventful trip with lots going on and I did a blog all about it last year along with a link to all the photos we took.

Happy Thanksgiving Cheryl! In Canada we had ours last month.
The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade must have been amazing, then to see the New York Jets. I've heard about that parade over the years.

The parade was amazing although we were quite far back to couldn't really see the things that were low down like the bands or anyone walking but all the large balloons and the floats were amazing and then Santa at the end really makes it.
I always wanted to see it after watching Miracle on 34th Street but in the film the store is named Coles.
We went to see the Jets because one of my sons and my husband are Jets fans so we were very lucky then on the Sunday we also went to watch the Giants as my daughter and other son are both Giants fans. It was a great time and to be able to get both teams at home while we were there was an absolute bonus.
It is 8.09 am here while I am typing this and you will probably be tucked up in bed sound asleep. xxx

Just being there would be awesome even I can't see it all. I can imagine those floats! as for watching both teams, thats a bonus you won't get to experience again.

It really was a blast Nick and something well worth doing. We were there from the Wednesday until the Monday and what we all packed into the time we were there was surprising. We were at 2 NFL Games, went to see the Rockettes Christmas Show which was amazing and the Macy's Parade to name a few and we didn't get to go to the Statue of Liberty or the other islands, Brooklyn Bridge or Ground Zero which was especially where my daughter and I wanted to really see. xxxx
