Once Again it has Happened
Woke this morning to the sad news of yet another terrorist attack.
Once again poor innocent people losing their lives or being injured while out enjoying themselves at a concert for Ariana Grande in the Manchester Arena and one sick minded person decides to detonate a device in the foyer in a suicide attack.
At the moment there have been 22 people killed (this sadly includes children) and 59 injured.
Such a sad sad day and my thoughts are with the Families and friends of all the victims that have been involved here.
Why is it that we live in such a sick world.

This is just horribly sad as it is mostly young girls and teenagers that would be at an Ariana Grande concert. Why on Earth would someone do something so terrible to that group of people. It makes me sick to my stomach. What can possibly come from doing such a sick and horrible act to a group of young fans of Ariana Grande? She is a Disney Channel star/actress and a very beautiful and talented singer as well. Why target a group of her fans or kids that young. It just rips my heart out....My thoughts and prayers go out to all the families as well...What next? Day Cares/Hospitals?.......Donna
You're right Donna, what are they going to target next. It is just so sad that it is always the innocent that pay the price and as you say why pick children, but then why pick on anyone. It makes me angry as well as sad. Unfortunately though as well as our thoughts and prayers going out to the families and friends of the poor victims involved, we still have to carry on with our every day lives or we are letting them win if we stop doing the things we love.
It is a very sad and sick world we live in and we have to worry about the future of our children. xx
When does it ever end, the needless and unnecessary cost of so much hate and mental illness? Even more sad that because these events used to be further and farther between we almost wake up expecting the next. Thoughts and prayers and love to all those in Manchester and everywhere else in the world affected by random acts of violence. So sad.
It is very sad Loni and you are right where does it ever end. What has made our world such a sad and sick place that people can conflict such hatred at each other. Whatever happened to world peace.

Very sad indeed! Anyone who attacks innocent bystanders in an effort to take a stand is nothing less than a coward! We lived in Oklahoma City at the time that the federal building there was bombed -- things like that change your outlook on the world forever!
That is the saddest thing Kirsten that they are choosing places where it is innocent people going about their life and enjoying themselves. I just feel so much for the families and friends of the poor victims who have been caught up in this.

I feel so much for the families of the victims, especially for people who couldn't find each other and then having the wait to know what has happened to them. It is really scary now but at the same time we can't let them win either by not carrying on. xx
It is a very bad and sick world that we are living in now. I would love nothing more than to see peace all over the world and everyone getting on but don't think there is ever any chance of that unfortunately. xx
For as long as population explodes and families are irresponsible of instilling the right values in life, peace will always be just a foretaste.

It is very sad Cheryl, that we have cowards fighting wars with innocent people. That is why we cannot let them win.
You are so right Harvey they are just cowards who are targetting innocent people who are out having a good time and have no idea that some kind of sick minded individual is going to wreck havoc in their lives while they kill themselves at the same time and what is it all for?
We definitely cannot afford to let them win. xxx
Mental issues has now become a worldwide concern. One of the signs is an increase in suicides. To me it is a symptom of a deeper cause. We should be investing more money in combatting mental illness rather than weapons.
