If I Miss Your Blogs Believe Me That It Is Not Done Intentionally
I have to say that I am very aware and feel rather guilty some days, as there are people here at WA who I used to comment on their blogs all the time and now because I have turned off my emails I now don't know they have blogged unless I look on the Dashboard. I have sometimes noticed that someone has done three or four blogs that I have missed and I read them all at the same time, commenting while I go along.
I don't like missing blogs from people who have been friends with me since I started as it seems like I don't want to speak to them anymore and there is nothing more further from the truth.
When I joined WA back in 2016, I used to have so many emails from everyone and I found it rather time consuming trying to do the training as well as answering all the emails. I even produced a blog at the time asking everyone to stop and let me catch up.
Then sometime in 2017, I made the decision to turn off my emails and just have certain ones instead of them all, so now I still get emails but nothing like I used to. In February/March 2017, I still had emails to be answered that went away back to August 2016. I chose then to ignore the ones that were away back and answered the ones that were more recent.
I often wish that there was a way for us to choose here who we would like to receive emails from (individual people) rather than having to get them all or get nothing.
Therefore, to anyone who I used to always comment on your blogs and then just suddenly seemed to have stopped I apologise. I have not done it deliberately and it is not that I am not speaking, it is just that I don't always know you have blogged. I will catch up with you at some point and probably do a mammoth blog reading on your profile and comment at the same time.

No I think we are all the very same Elaine and the more people that follow you the more emails you get. I would love to be able to go through who I follow or follows me and pick the ones that I really want to get emails from. xxx
I did much the same thing, Cheryl, during the 3+ months that I was out of the country: moved everythihng that came from WA toa separate folder and ignored it.
When I got home I was confronted with a folder holding more that 1600 entries! I didn't have to think very long or very hard before just clicking 'Delete All'!
I haven't looked back except for a few people whose advice has been above and beyond the norm, those with whom I feel I've developed a true (if virtual) relationship! I have gone back into historical posts for a couple of them.
Whenever you need us, we are always here. Feel free to jump back in!

Hi Tim, I know exactly what you mean. I was at the stage where I was tearing my hair out worrying about not being able to get through them all so I had to make the decision to turn them off. I haven't turned them all off though. xxxx

Yesterday I responded to nearly all of the emails I received, 76 of them. But I know I am going to have to design a way to deal with them because I know I will not be able to do it everyday. When I first joined the community, it was easier to keep up. They are so many now that I am not always able to keep up.

Thanks and I know what you mean as I was the same when I started but then the more followers you get the more emails you get.
It is up to you how you work it but don't get to the stage I was at that I was tearing my hair out because I couldn't get caught up with them. xxxx

Please do not feel guilty. I think a lot of us do, myself included, but it is not possible to read all posts. There are people who nearly write every day, I then chose perhaps 1 a week.
