How Do You Start Your Day? - With A Coffee Of Course
First Things First
What is the first thing you do in the morning after you get up.
I know the very first thing I do is put the kettle on as I cannot function in the morning until I have had a cup of coffee.
Even if I am taking Jake out, I put the kettle on to boil so that I don't have to wait when I come back to get my coffee.
This one's for you and I Wayne lol
I know some people who get up and the first thing they think of is having breakfast, if there is one thing I cannot do as soon as I get up is eat right away.
How Many Cups?
I know that sometimes I have seen myself have 2 cups of coffee before I feel awake enough to take on the tasks of getting things done but mostly I manage with one in between each chore lol. That can mean that things take rather a long time.
I thought I would ask you all a question, and here is what I would like you to answer:

I’m terrible without coffee in the morning Chez. A total mess and walking disaster:
1. I fall out of bed every morning, I keep forgetting I’m in a bunk bed
2. I used to be addicted to showers in the morning but I’m proud to say I’ve been dry for 3 months now
3. I try and do some exercise, 7 press ups a day, the first one after I’ve fallen out of the bed
4. I read a book every morning - The History of Glue “I just can’t put it down”
5. I follow Exit Signs to my coffee “they’re on the way out!
6. I’m like a mime in the morning - I like the right to remain silent
7. I look at the bread bin and wonder what was the best thing before sliced bread?
8. I keep my coffee in a jar sealed with Velcro - that’s a rip off!
When I get my coffee, it’s all normal again!

Awww you are so kind to me Wayne, thank you.
What are you going to do to waste time, are you going to have some days off or will you work from the hotel. Does that mean you can't leave until you get your mail or is it just annoying you having to wait for it.
I never noticed it but it was maybe after I went to bed. I did get the real one today though, not that long ago lol. I can't do another blog as this is the 5th time lol. Are you going to do a blog about it?

Cathy off course we can still be friends lol.
I know that not everyone are coffee drinkers. My cousin for years and years would never drink tea or coffee but she drinks coffee now surprisingly.
I have had not too bad a day but still can't get rid of this sore throat so it is driving me nuts.

Funny...actually I'm one of those oddballs...don't drink coffee! I just sleep all day! (Not really...I drink a juice with tons a vitamins thrown in to get me going but that doesn't sound nearly as fun as coffee)

That's the thing though Debbie, it's not everyone who likes the taste of coffee. I will say you are missing out though lol. I used to take mine with milk and sugar, then just milk and now I prefer it just to be black. I do prefer to have a really nice tasting coffee though. I used to love the Kenco Brazilian coffee and they just stopped doing it, I was so disappointed when they did that. xxx
I'll have 2 please. I generally have 4 cups in the morning, not just to wake up. I have cut it back from 2 12 cup pots.

One thing I couldn't do is have cream and sugar, even the thought of it makes me think YUK. Always needs to be hot, nothing worse than cold coffee.

I agree Sheila, I love coffee and coffee flavoured things. I was so disappointed when they took the coffee creams out boxes of chocolates. xxxx

I am a real grump without at least one cup of dark rich coffee in the morning. One cup makes me civil and two cups gets my productivity going.
