Heading the wrong way
I have noticed that over the last week or so that my rank has been heading the wrong way, it is going down instead of up.
Unfortunately, this has occurred because I have been having a few teething problems with one of my sites and have been trying to get it sorted.
I really do not have any problems with the rank as I know that it is not a great deal and once I get things sorted out and I am happy again with how my site looks then I can get back on track with publishing content and get back on with the training.
As good as it is to see your rank number going up, I do not think that it is the be all or end all if it falls again, especially as you can get the number going the right way again.
I am hoping that today will be the last day that I have to play about to sort it out and then it will look how it was and how it should.

my rank is not going the correct way either...but driving for Uber is going so well and summer is the peak time...so that's kept me off the computer!
Thanks Karin and we all know that sometimes other things become more important but as I said it is not the be all and end all. You will be the same as me in that you will get your rank going the right way again when you get the chance. xx
I noticed mine also going down Cheryl. When it goes up it may move one or two spaces, but four or five going down. Have not figured how it actually works yet.
You are right Harvey, when it is going up it goes in single figures but when it goes down it jumps down quicker. I don't know how it works either but I know why it has happened and how I can sort it. xx

I've never been all that concerned with this WA Rank thing. I don't feel accomplished enough to do training and would rather spend content writing time for my site. So what you are doing with your available WA time only makes sense to me.
I do enjoy engaging with the community when I see a thread that gets my attention (like this one). Some of the training being offered up lately is helpful, but much of it is not.
Hope you get things worked out on the site real soon.
It's nearly there, just some hiccups with my images for my slider but I will work it out. Thanks for your comment. xx
