Embracing Changes
As we all know, over the last two or three days there has been both big and small changes for everyone here at Wealthy Affiliate.
I can see from all the different reactions from people that people have been shocked at the results in the Rankings as they have either plummeted by a lot and there are others who have appeared as Ambassadors even though they were way well down in the ranks.
I don't think anyone could ever foretell that these were going to be the results and some people are now either disappointed and unhappy that they have dropped so far so quickly and there are others who will be smirking like the cat that's got the cream.
I got a surprise myself the other night as I noticed my rank dropped from 27 down to 31, then I suddenly received on my profile the message for when you become an Ambassador. Right away, I thought that one or the other has to be wrong but which one. I soon found out what one it was so I was not able to blow that trumpet again.
My actual reason for this blog was because I came across some nice quotes about things changing that I really thought were appropriate to this situation.

sometimes change is good, my rand did not move 1 point in the last week, so hopefully no change is good also
Hi JimnKaran, I think change is good as well but there were so many people went down by huge numbers and others came up by huge numbers. I know people were shocked and upset because they went down quite far as well as others who will be delighted because they went up quite far.
I was lucky in that I only went down 4 but to see people who had been here before you and at Ambassador to suddenly plummet and be down below where you are was a real surprise.
We will just have to wait now and let it all settle down. xxx

Jean, you don't want to go back down again too much lol. Things will settle down again, I think it was just a shock to a lot of people who dropped quickly. xxx
I don't have any desire to be Ambassador because I don't think I am knowledgeable enough; but I like to try to stay under 100; but it's not that important. I don't lose any sleep over it. :)
They most definitely have Vera, it will be interesting to see how many of the ones who went up to Ambassadorship will be there for the long haul or will the fall quickly again. xxx
I know, I was surprised to see people that I hadn't seen before suddenly being up at Ambassador. We will just need to wait and see what happens next. xxx

You are right Robert, our websites really are our main concerns and people are getting hung up on the ranking but at the same time it must have been a shock for the ones who saw their rankings plummet. xxx
