Easter Weekend
Here we are once again, it is a very important weekend in the Christian diary.
Off course as we all know it is Easter weekend and today is Good Friday.
I hope you all have good plans for doing something nice and are spending the time with family if you can. I know I won't be doing much over the weekend apart from relaxing and recovering from my Op. Not sure if we will all be here or if Hayley will be going to her boyfriends but whatever we do it will be quiet.

I am just hoping that someone will take some pity on me and buy me a nice easter egg, if not I will just need to buy myself one.
Don't eat all your own eggs at the one go as you may put yourself off chocolate (never) lol.

Happy Easter Cheryl! I'm sure you're glad that your surgery is behind you and your thoughts are now focussed on chocolate! After just going through a procedure I think you're entitled to twice as much.

Happy, joyous, refreshing, and remembering Easter. I'm sure you are aware reading my profile, I raise 2 of my 7 grandchildren, 6 actually, but my 7th will pop out in 6 weeks! During the holidays, everyone is a child (enjoy your chocolate egg!), but there a few things I limit out on. My grandson is 16, 17 in July. Having Asperger's or Autism, his emotional age has not matured as quickly. In fact, his testing has him at a 7/8 maturity level. We decided this year Tyler will not be able to join in the Easter egg hunt with his sister, age 12. But, to make up for it, he will be able to help me hide the eggs and that seems to have soothed him for now, but Sunday may be a different story.😱

I will enjoy my egg thank you and I have to say that you are doing a great job raising your grandchildren and you must be looking forward to your 7th grandchild being born.
That must be so hard for Tyler and for your family but I am sure he will have a great time helping you put the eggs out instead. I hope you manage to keep his attention enough on Sunday so that he doesn't notice the others doing the search.
Being the mum of a disabled son I know that we never want pity as they are still individuals and are doing their best with what they have.

Recover well and enjoy the weekend. We are having summer weather here in Oxford. Actually, it's not 'summer weather' because by the time we are supposed to have summer weather it'll no doubt be cold again. And I do hope someone will give you your very own Easter egg.

Thank you Isabella, and I know exactly what you mean as we are the same up here in Scotland. I asked my daughter if she would be kind enough and buy me an egg and she said yes.
