I thought I would do this Blog a bit different by using images more than words to ask you all the question of how would you like to have both a City Life and a Beach Life.

Just think that from Monday to Friday you could have the

Then when you finish work on a Friday, you can hit the

Now I know there are probably a lot of people within Wealthy Affiliate who already live this kind of lifestyle, but there are also a lot of people like myself who would love to have this kind of lifestyle. Unfortunately though, I really would need to vacate Scotland to do this, so if there is any one out there looking for a lodger who would love to take in a crazy Scots lass, I will be thankful lol.

So everyone remember,

But if you feel the need like the wee dog below then follow his lead and then wake up refreshed and ready to go.

So for anyone and everyone like myself who would love to have the above lifestyle of working Monday to Friday in the City, in your own home off course, then at the weekend hitting the beach for some relaxation and cocktails, keep battling on doing what we are doing and never give up hope.

Just make sure that you drink it before it goes cold though as I often land up with cold coffee.

Lol Cheryl, this reminds me of when I worked in Jamaica for three years. Monday to Friday I worked in Kingston, government, but Friday evening or early Saturday morning jump in the car and head to the north coast or where I was born for the beach and relaxation.

Hi Harvey, thanks and this sounds like just what I was talking about. It just sounds so good. You are making me want to go away on holiday again. xxxx

Hi CB,
I enjoyed your post.
We currently live in a city but take a few beach vacations every year. My preference would be to have a beachfront property near a great city with all conveniences. Great environment to work on your business and enjoy city life when needed.
Thanks for sharing and have a great day.
Jules

I personally would be the same as yourself Jules and stay at the beach but be close enough to nip into the city as and when it was needed.

You are very welcome and thanks very much for commenting Jules. xx

I prefer a beach for it is less pollution.

Great job my friend!
Forget the City and Hello Beach!
I have to drink my Hot coffee..

Great post Chez. I spent 20 yrs of my life living in Spain and I have to say that's the best years of my life.

My goal is to return to Spain and sit on that beach again with a glass of vino and working from my Laptop. I want to do some travelling too.

My husband and I are In the midst of renovating an old bus into a camper. So it all looks good. I do want my base to be Spain though and not London.

Hoping also that W.A. Goes Spanish as well I would be in my element.

Hope you had a fab holiday in Tenerife too Hun, Great to see you back.
Debs :))

Serve me both please! It comes with a plan and keeping at it!

I have the perfect spot for you. Hop across the Atlantic to Anguilla but we don't have a city so it's beach life all the way
Bring tons of Soldi

If you live in a place like Auckland, Lisbon or Sydney you can have both without having to travel between the 2. I know in Auckland and Sydney it rains just as much as it does in Scotland but at least the rain is warm!
If you've got a ton of money and want to stay in the UK, a waterside property on Poole Harbour would be an option if you don't mind sharing the limited space with all the second-home-owning Londoners. Poole's right next to Bournemouth which has got a lot going on :-)
Cheers
Rich

Thanks Rich, funnily enough I have been in both Auckland and Sydney but never been in Lisbon. I was in both Oz and NZ away back in 1981 visiting family. My dad has a brother in Sydney who is just a 5 minute walk from Bondi Beach which I was on when I was there and he has a brother who used to stay in Huntly which was an hours drive from Auckland but we did come into Auckland itself a couple of times to visit my cousin.

My uncle now stays right on the beach as his family are all grown up and have their own lives and his wife who was a Maori, passed away years ago so he is on his own and he loves to dive for coral although he is now 80 years old.

If I was to pick between the 2 I would certainly choose NZ. I certainly wouldn't stay in the UK, I want somewhere that actually gets a decent summer lol. xxx

Interested that out of Auckland and Sydney you'd pick Auckland. I've been to Sydney but not Auckland and I was looking online the other day for opinions comparing the two! It's roughly split 50/50 between people who've been to both. I forgot to mention Vancouver in my first comment - that's an amazing city :-)
Cheers
Rich

Hi Rich, if it was between Sydney and Auckland it would have to be Sydney but if it was between Australia and New Zealand as a country it would be New Zealand as it reminds me a bit more of Scotland.

Again like Lisbon, I have never been to Vancouver.

Have a great day Rich. xxx

I would LOVE to have a beach house. For now, we need to settle for day trips and weekends away (which is still great), but a beach house would be fabulous. We have gorgeous beaches here.

I love your blog above. Great stuff! Thank you for the insight!
I tried to post a blog, but for some reason it just doesn't work.
