Chocolate, Chocolate and More Chocolate
Just a wee fun and quirky blog today in honour of ToliNoli (Stefan to me) as we had been chatting about chocolates yesterday and I promised I would get him some fun quotes and pictures of chocolates.
Please make sure you have eaten before looking and I don't want to be held responsible for making people hungry, especially for chocolate.
I do know there are people out there who don't either like chocolate or are not able to eat it for various different reasons but the biggest majority of people are more than likely to be chocolate lovers.
Feel free at the end to tell me your favourite chocolate bar from any era at all. I know mine was a bar named Boost which was in a red wrapper and had coconut wrapped in chocolate, this was heaven to me and I was distraught when they stopped selling them.
Well. Thursday today and the start of February. Time again to change the calendars. As I said though enjoy the quotes and images but try not to get too hungry lol.
I wasn't going to add this last one but because I have such a warped sense of humour, it just made me laugh. If anyone is offended by it tell me and I will remove it again.
Have a great Thursday everyone and will catch up with you all later.

How adorable!!!
Although I like chocolate, I wouldn't kill for it like so many people I know...but no judgment!
Thanks for the early morning chuckle, Cheryl.
Hello Veronica, hope you are well.
Thank you and I have to admit I wouldn't kill for it either like some people but I do like some.
You are very welcome Veronica. xxx

Are you dropping hints there Mike lol. Not to sure if I fancy these ones to tell you the truth. xxxx
Awwww so sorry Sheila, hope you went and got some chocolate after you had finished reading. xxxx
Not sure about #10 but Share your love/addiction for chocolate, preferably dark cocoa rich chocolate
I think number 10 is a femaie thing Terry lol.
Definitely dark chocolate over milk or white anytime. xxxx
When you see so much chocolate, you suddenly want a pickle.T
Though I am a great chocolate lover...:)
Thanks Vera, they are one thing I wouldn’t thank you for, I won’t say what went through my mind when I saw them lol. Xxx
It can be the case. At different times we want different things. Our bodies are cleverer than we are. Your body might crave for chocolate right now, mine wants a pickle or a piece of salted fish.. Just now.
In some time I will want some chocolate.
As you know I am always for chocolate...:)))
That is so very true Vera and I have to say that even though I did that blog on chocolate, it was not what I wanted at that time. I hope you had your pickle or your fish, I was thinking more about hot toast with butter and jam on it.
I know you are like me though in that you do like chocolate. xxxx
I just had a snickers and a coffee or else I’d be salivating everywhere. I have family working at Cadbury’s, so I’ve had the Willy Wonka experiences of walking around the plant!
When I lived in the Middle East, I used to travel with 10 to 15kg’s of chocolate, it always raised a question with customs!
The same brand of chocolate has many different tastes around the World. Strange but true.
Thanks Chez for tantalising those tasting buds and the smile!

Haha I’ve done the Bournville trip too a long time ago. Still have fondant memories :-)
Terry
Evening Wayne, glad to see that you had your chocolate before you had read this. That must have been fun going round Cadburys. My mum used to work for Rowntrees and she used to always bring chocolate home as they had a shop where they could buy the things that weren't good enough to go out to the public but there really was nothing wrong with them. They used to call them the misshapes.
I was on holiday years ago at York and my husband and I went on a boat trip down the Ouse where you went past the Terry's of York Chocolate factory and you could really smell the chocolate, was making everyone hungry.
Did you take the chocolate with you because you don't like the chocolate abroad. I know that I think the chocolate is better here but it is not as good as it used to be years ago.
You are very welcome Wayne and glad I made you smile. xxxx
Well done Terry, I like that one lol. I have to say that bournville chocolate is my favourite dark chocolate.
Hope it was a good experience and you managed to get some freebies when you were there lol. xxx
Hi Cheryl, I am pleased you asked!
I used to carry chocolate for several reasons:
1. Chocoholic, me was! But most of it wasn’t for me!
2. I could save a few hundred quid buying in the UK from the Cadbury shop (you have to be staff).
3. It was free promotion for Cadbury. Many poor people benefitted from my efforts. Cadbury chocolate is expensive overseas.
4. I worked in a multi cultural office, some earned less than £500 per month, lots had families, it was nice to share! Poorer office staff would only give the chocolate to their kids, even though I would give enough for the whole family.
5. I would make up packs for about 20 people and leave them on desks or work stations in the office. I did this until it was all finished.
Basically, it felt nice for me to share.
When you stock a fridge with 15 kg of Cadbury chocolate, that is a real colourful sight.
It was always appreciated by staff members. They appreciated that trekking 15 kg of chocolate across the world wasn’t easy!
I felt like Chocolate Claus!
Have a great day ahead!
Wayne
