Busy Week But Now Time To Catch Up
Last Week
This last week has been busy for me with a variety of different things happening. It started with Easter and the monday holiday where we were all off work. Tuesday was a normal working day for me then Wednesday and Thursday saw me attending court but only because I had been pulled up for Jury duty. Wasn't picked though so was two days wasted, then Friday was just a normal working day for me too.
Hayley's Birthday
As well as having to go for jury duty on Wednesday, it was also Hayley's birthday. As she had already arranged to see her friends both in the afternoon and at nght so we never really got the chance to spend time together. We did spend time altogether a a family on Thursday though and had a lovely meal to celebrate.
Need To Be Busy Today
Now, here we are at Saturday and another week over. We are also at the end of another month of SWAG. Now I know that I have done my utmost best to get everything done, I have fallen behind again with the posts and have only managed to do 5 this month instead of 12. The one thing I have decided not to do though is stress myself about it because it doesn't get you anywhere and makes no difference to what you are doing at the moment. I have more or less managed to get everything else completed though.
Today for me will be spent tidying everything up and finishing my post I started before we get what we have to do for month 3.
Month Three
Well everyone here's to another good month for us all. Can't believe that we have reached the end of month 2 already, hardly feels like it was time since we started the month.
The Weekend
I hope everyone has made some good plans for things to do this weekend and that the sun i shining for you all.

I certainly know what you mean. I am in the process of getting my house ready to sell, and really need to be working on the painting, but here I sit, talking to my friends instead! Have a nice Sunday. They're forecasting sleet or snow tonight into tomorrow, and possible wintry mix for Monday. Guess nobody told the weatherman it's supposed to be APRIL!
Carol, I think that the weather has a lot to do with how our mood is, I know that when the weather is rotten, my mood can be so low and I can't be bothered doing things but when the sun is out I seem to have so much more energy to do things and do them in my stride.
I thing they forgot to tell the weather, never mind the weatherman that it's April and it's supposed to be spring lol. xxx
I agree. Had snow again last night, but it melted before I had to leave for church this AM. Forecast is for sleet/snow tonight into tomorrow AM. Sure am glad I don't have to rush around in rush hour traffic on ice!! I'll be staying home tomorrow. Hope it warms up enough so I can get to chorus rehearsal tomorrow night, though. Carol
Thankfully Carol the worst we got was rain. It looks like it's going to be a decent day today and not as cold as it has been. I've totally had enough of the snow. I don't blame you for being glad that you don't have to rush around in the rush hour traffic especially when it is icy.
I'm sure you'll be fine for night time and your chorus rehearsal. xxxx

We had sleet/snow again last night. My poor tulips don't look like they're gonna do anything except grow leaves. I have been covering to protect them from frost for several nights, but they don't look good at all. They're predicting freezing weather again next week....the 3rd week in April! Somebody's gotta get ahold of that weatherman and teach him that April is Spring!

If you are talking literally about the sun shining then no the sun isn't shining, cloudy,35* and misty. But if you are talking about my mood that's different. I may not have gotten all my goals completed but I have done my best. Very happy with my progress. I'm walking on sunshine!!!

A couple of people in my WA network have just talked about reviewing the GOALS they have set and how they're doing. I know Kyle covered that in the training but I did not actually sit down and think about this and write them down. One tip was to set up a template and write down my SPECIFIC goals for each day, each week each month, 3 months, 6 months, 1 year, etc. I'm retired AND divorced so I can pretty much do whatever I feel like, when I feel like it - in other words, I'm unsupervised - ha ha! I need to get my butt in gear if I want to achieve the goal of earning money online. So, thanks for the incentive to catch up, I've been lazy!! Blessings to you!

Time is going fast and we need to cherish every minute of the day because before we know it Memorial Day will be here and then summer and then it starts all over again. No matter how we manage our time it still seems to slip away from us.

Each week seems to go faster than the last... we've had a couple of really nice sunny days, so now the garden is calling....
You are totally right. Do your best, enjoy what you are doing and be proud of it. There's absolutely no point in stressing about self-imposed goals.

I used to always get myself stressed but not any more as it is not worth it and doesn't make things any easier or better. xxx
